Here are some questions for you! To help encourage you and to let you know this is a safe place to answer, I will also be answering each question.

Question One: If you had to choose to keep your friends or to keep your family, who would you choose?

Personally, I'd keep my family. This is because, over time, friends become family--that way I'd have everyone I need.

Question Two: If you had the choice to be LGBT+ or straight, which would you choose.

This question has been asked thousands of times to a variety of people. Most say they'd like to be happy, and I 100% agree. But, I have another choice: I might just want to be LGBT+ to trigger homophobes. 😋 I'd be different, I'd be open about it, I'd be proud, and I'd be strong. But, yes, happy would be my first choice.

Question Three: Did you, or do you, have anyone in your life who you trust, and you know that they'll give you a sanctuary? Do you feel comfortable around them, and do you know each other well?

I have a couple people in my life who do this for me. One is one of my "mentors", Mr. K. I trust them, and he will provide me with a home when I need it. I am comfortable around him, and we know each other well. I'm thankful he's in my life.

Question Four: Can you give a list of stereotypical names you've ever been called?

Indeed, I can: nerd, jock, guy-ish, boy-ish, blonde, straight (sometimes counts, sometimes doesn't), Aries, girly, and I think that's about it.

Question Five: Have you ever been bullied for doing what the teacher asked of you (in school)?

Yes, I have. I guess I was the "good girl". But, I take no shame in it, it also meant I was smart--I didn't get in trouble, I was there to learn, I got straight A+s, and those who made fun of me got C-s and/or Ds/Fs. Besides, the teacher was extremely kind, caring and was great at teaching us.
