Olivia could feel the ray of morning sunshine on her face. She squinted and turned her face. As she opened her eyes she could make out the outline of Tommy stood at the end of the bed. Olivia sat up and soon her vision became clear. Tommy was putting his shirt on, as he did Olivia could make out the scars on his bare back. He was unaware she was watching him get ready. He threw his jacket on and brushed his fingers through his hair.
'You always look so cool,' Olivia said. At that Tommy turned to the young girl in the bed. Her hair was messy and she looked tired but that didn't stop Tommy from admiring her. She was wearing a lilac slip and her bare skin looked tempting to Tommy. He smirked at her.
'You don't look too bad yourself,' He replied. Olivia smiled in response, as he continued to get ready she couldnt help but think back to last night. After the kiss at the stables Tommy took Olivia home. They fell through the door of her home, unable to keep their hands from each other and soon enough ended up in Olivia's bed. Olivia felt conflicted as she thought of the night. She had a job to do, she had to make Tommy fall for her, so Sabini can get him when he is distracted, when he is weak. But Olivia didn't want to see this as a job anymore. After the kiss in the stables yesterday Olivia felt something. She had butterflies when his lips touched hers.
Olivia had to get the thoughts off her mind. Tommy was something else, he wasn't like any man she had been with, but she still didn't really know him. Maybe if she moved things on a bit quicker then the job would be over before she knew it. She didn't want to feel conflict anymore.
'Liv..' Tommy interuppted her thoughts. She looked up at him and he was stood, dressed and ready for the day at the end of the bed.
'Hmm.'
'I have to go. I'm meeting my brothers and I can't be late,' Tommy said. Olivia smirked. She threw the covers off herself to reveal the slip she was wearing. She crawled to the end of the bed and kneeled up, she just reached his chest.
'Or Mr Shelby...you could always stay here and entertain me for a few hours I'm sure your brothers wouldn't mind.' She spoke seductively, she started undoing the shirt buttons that he just buttoned. He sighed and looked down at her pale blue eyes. Her touch was easy to drive him mad, she knew how to be a tease. He took hold of her hands and pushed them away from his chest. She frowned.
'I've got to go Liv, I'll come round the club later.' He couldn't help but smile at her frowning face. But Olivia had a back up plan.
'Fine, I'm going to go for a bath then.' As she headed towards the bathroom Tommy's eyes watched her. Her beautiful long legs danced over the floor, her hips swaying. She entered the bathroom and closed the door. Tommy turned away, but just before he could walk away to leave he heard the bag room door open. He turned around and Olivia had the door slightly ajar. All he could see was her hand holding the slip and with that she dropped it on the floor outside the bathroom.
Tommy looked at the slip on the floor, knowing she was fully undressed in the door in front of him was making his mind race. He looked at his pocket watch and placed it back in his pocket.
'Fuck it, they can wait.' And with that Tommy walked towards the bathroom, entered and closed the door behind him.
'Fucking hell Tommy, what time do you call this!?' Arthur shouted as he saw his brother walk through the door of the pub they were meeting at. He was two hours late. Tommy kept his flat cap low and acted as though nothing was wrong. He sat down in front of his brothers and ordered a whiskey. Both John and Arthur had open mouths. Tommy was never late.
'So, what did we call this meeting for lads?' Tommy asked, taking a sip of the whiskey placed in front of him. John looked his brother up and down. He was wearing the exact same thing he wore yesterday.
'Fuck that Tommy, why are you still wearing the same thing you wore yesterday?.... did you fuck that singer from the club?' John questioned, clapping his hands at the thought. Tommy slammed his glass down on the table.
'Why does it matter what I'm fucking wearing John? I'm here. Now what's going on?' Arthur and John looked at each other, both uncertain of Tommy's reaction and how he would take the news.
'Well...Tommy, Sabini found out you were at the races yesterday. He also found out that your horse won, meaning his bookies didn't make any money. He is pissed, Tommy. ' Arthur explained. Tommy ran a hand over his face. Fuck.
'Right well, we stick to the plan. If he comes for us, we deal with it. Happy? Right, I've got somewhere I need to be.' Tommy finished his whiskey, and left the pub. His brothers sat confused.
'Did you notice.' John asked Arthur. He raised an eyebrow.
'Notice. Notice what?'
'Well as soon as we mention that girl, he lost it. I think, he likes her, like really likes her,' John suggested. Arthur shook his head.
'Well he needs his head together, if Sabini finds him..... we're fucked'.
