I Feel it Coming - The Weekend ft. Draft Punk
Smiles and Salutes
Its almost time. One minute. One minute left and I can leave this h*ll hole. I quickly pack my things into my bag and count down the time until I can leave.
After about thirty more seconds the bell rings and the animals leave the classroom faster than Usain Bolt. I don't blame them. The week was so long. But surprisingly nothing really happened today. Yup you heard me, today was drama free.
I get to my locker and put my books on the shelf and fix my hair in the small mirror. Today I decided to go simple and leave the blonde waves down. My makeup is simple too I guess. Just mascara, eyeliner, and slightly pink lips.
"Boo!"a male voice shouts into my ear and I let a small scream escape my lips. Adrian leans his head back and barks a laugh that fills the silent hallways. I smack him on the arm but this makes him laugh harder, clutching his stomach as I glare at him.
"You know your an idiot, right?" I say with my arms cross and body leaning on my closed locker. He tries to speak but his laughs won't stop, so he nods.
"Why are you still laughing when you just gave me a f*cking heart attack!" I scream in his face.He sobers up a little just to say "Wow, I didn't know you scare that easily." He chuckles.
"No it's only when I see your face."
He stops laughing and his signature smirk is back on his face while he points down at himself. "Please, I'm irresistible."
"If irresistible means annoying and irritating little piece of sh*t, then yes, very irresistible." I reply with a sarcastic smile.
"Just admit it, luv" he continues walking to lean beside me on the lockers and I throw my hands up when he says my new nickname. Why can't he say my name? It's really not that hard. Quinn. Easy enough right. Not for him I guess."You know you want me--"
"Dead? Yes, very badly." I agree. "And stop calling me that stupid nickname. That's why we got detention the other day. Well I got detention and you just skipped." I said realizing his absence that day. "Where were you anyways?"
"Minding my business. You should try it sometime."
"You know being a d*ck won't make yours any bigger." I retort.
"Would you like to see for your self?" He asks starting to unbuckle his belt.
"Please," I say, waving a hand in his face. "You'd need a magnifying glass to see that thing." I laugh.
"I always love our little chats." He says turning his head to face me.
I roll my eyes. "What do you want Adrian?" I ask with a blank face. I was tired of talking to this jerk face so I just went right to the point.
"Why can't friends have a simple conversation without someone wanting something?"
"Because your Adrian Thomson." I said simply in a duh tone.
I look around and I see the rest of the gang walking towards us. "Hey guys." I greet with a smile and they all say hi, except Reagan and Cassie who come rushing towards me.
"You ready?" Reagan says, excitement in her eyes.
"Ready for...?"
She rolls her eyes and laughs. "Im guessing you forgot about tonight." I try and rack my brain for any thing Reagan would have told me that was happening tonight, but came up with nothing. I shook my head and confusion crossed my face. "You and me? The football game tonight?" she pushes and I smile remembering what she was talking about
