As soon as Gerard claimed me as his daughter, I lost the need to be a "good girl". I looked around, taking in my new home. Gerard turned to face me, making me feel better than Lynz did the day they married.
"I love you." he said, staring in my direction.
"We need to talk later, Gee." I replied.
Then, it hit me.
Depression.
Gee didn't know.
