(I'm not adding the plane ride cuz I'm sure it would be awkward well at least I would make it awkward, for I have never been on a plane.)
My plane descends and I get off and look around and think, I can't believe I'm back home, I smile and grab my luggage and call an Uber, tell him where I'm going and get in, the drive was around 15 minutes and I was so happy I thought I was going to scream, I mean come on I haven't seen him in over 3 years of course I'm excited, and to make it better he doesn't know that I'm here. We arrived and I just sat there looking, home, was all that ran in my head. I got out and walked to the door. My feet were stuck to the floor and my heart was pounding, honestly I thought I was going to cry. Then I knocked lightly and then my brother came out and started asking "Um hi may I-" he nearly dropped his phone he had in his hand. "Lotus!" He then picked me up and hugged me like there was nothing else to hold onto. "Adam" I whispered as tears of joy prickled at my eyes, "I missed you so much." He replied still amazed to see me " I missed you too. Come in." With that I grab my lagguge and head in.
The house was beautiful I can tell why Adam loved it here so much. I set down my stuff and sit on the couch and after a minute of trying comfortable silence Adam speaks up and says "So how long are you back for?""To be honest I haven't really thought about it, I guess a week or two, but I don't know, I might stay if I find a place to stay." I replied. Adam soon replied, "Well if you want, you could stay here for as long as you want." You look at Adam and he has a hopeful smile. Soon you get yourself together and say "Yeah um I guess, I don't won't to be problem." He frowns and adds "Its okay stay here as long as you need I was getting lonely ." At this point I couldn't tell if he was telling the truth or not so I simply shrugged and added " Okay, I guess if it won't be a problem." He nods and says " Um are you hungry, I know of a lovely restraunt down the road." I nod and say,"let me get ready." He smiles and nods and shows you to the guest bedroom, you thank him and change into (pic above).

You arrive at the quaint restraunt and get a table, a kind waitress soon approaches and asks what we would like to drink I ask for a lemonade and he asks for a Coke. when she leaves me and Adam catch up he asked how Aunt Sarah was I replied with a good and soon after the waitress returns, "Okay are you guys ready to order?" Adam nods and says "May I have today's special." She nods as she writes it down. She looks at my and smiles "And you?" I reply with a smile, " Um I will have the caesar salad please." She nods and again writes it down, she leaves and I look at Adam and ask about work. "So how's work?" He replies with a shrug, "Good I guess, work is work." I nod and add, "What do you do anyways?" "I'm the manager of the Italian restaurant downtown, it's pretty cool but it's too quote on quote fancy for me." He says raising an eyebrow sarcastically. I add, "Maybe you could work here I mean it's close and I mean it's really cool." He looks at me and nods, thinking about what I said. Our waitress arrives, and says, "Enjoy your meal." I say with a smile, "Thank you." She smiles and leaves. In the middle of eating I break mine and Adams comfortable silence and say, "This place has great service." He nods"Yeah and I really like the waitress, very friendly." He adds going for bite of his food.

Once we're done we leave a tip, pay, and find out how to connect to their website, for one, to complement their service and two to look if they are hiring.
When we get to Adams house we watch movies and eat ice cream until we got tired.
I got into the bed and got under the blankets, and smiled.
I'm finally home, the place where I belong.
