The bus was cramped,

The school decided to squeeze the entire class into an out of shape, smelly  little bus.

Everyone had to squish together in the seats with at least two or three people on one seat each, except for Teruteru. He had a whole seat to himself.

After a hour long bus trip. The group finally arrived at their campsite.

As the students stepped out of the rickety bus, a giant sign loomed above their heads.

The words "Welcome to Camp Dangan" was engraved in the wood sign.

"Here we are kiddos! This is it!" Teacher Chisa cheered as she threw her arms into the air.

The camp seemed to give off a "welcome home" vibe. With nice cozy cabins, fascinating view of a lake that glistened and shimmered in the suns vibrant light.

"Hm, not too shabby. And I thought we would end up at some shitty area where we have to pitch up tents and sing happy little songs till our brains melt." Fuyuhiko remarked, crossing his arms as he eyed the cozy little cabins that scattered around the area.

"Yes. This place does not seem as bad as I thought." Peko agreed as Chisa drooped her head.

"Come on class...What do you take me for...?" Chisa whined as nervous laughter broke out throughout the clump of classmates.

"You think I'd stop at happy little songs?" Chisa added confidently.

The students groaned in response. They felt as if they should have expected it in the first place.

The students were ordered to pitch up their own tents and set up camp. You'd expect it to be such a pestering job to pitch up tents which it is, but everyone seemed to enjoy working together.

All except for Fuyuhiko of course. He decided to  slip away while no one was looking so he could clear his thoughts.

He trudged down to the lake shore and sat down on the sand.

Looking out at the horizon, his mind which used to be clouded was cleared away.

He felt relaxed, calm, and boy did he enjoy it.

The sound of pattering feet echoed on the sandy floor.

Fuyuhiko turned his head toward the sound.

It was Peko.

"Oh hey." Fuyuhiko greeted his approaching friend as he pat a spot next to him suggestively.

Peko accepted his request and plopped down next to him.

"Is something wrong, young master?" Peko asked.

Fuyuhiko looked into her crimson eyes with his soft green ones.

Her eyes, it was clouded with worry and concern.

"No. I'm just looking out at the lake.." Fuyuhiko reassured her.

"You don't need to worry about me, what matters most is you..." Fuyuhiko blurted.

Peko's eyes widened.

Realizing what he just said, Fuyuhiko's face turned into a shade of pink blush as he turned away.

"I-I-I...UHM....I didn't mean to...!" Fuyuhiko was a blushing mess.

"I just want you to be honest with your feelings is all! I-I just don't want you to hide your feelings from me and trust me with your feelings so you can feel free to tell me things!"
