Fuyuhiko x Peko

Valentines Day Special!

Fuyuhiko awoke to the sound of early morning birds as they chirped and chattered as sunlight filled the room and shadows danced across the walls. He sat up, groggily rubbing his eyes while taking in the atmosphere. It was refreshing to wake up knowing that everything was how it should be, he could ask for nothing more.

Though this amusing silence was soon to be broken by the sounds of crashing metal. Fuyuhiko snapped out of his trance and nearly tripped over himself as he hurried out of his room towards the sound, his face now pale with fear and concern. He quickly turned a corner into the kitchen only to find himself staring at Peko as she was picking up the large mess of pots and pans that were sprawled across the floor. Peko glanced over at him and attempted to plaster a hesitant smile on her face.

"Good morning. I'm sorry to have woke you." Peko said as she hurried over to the stove. Fuyuhiko didn't realize the faint smell of batter fill the air as he scurried over to help clean up the mess. "Don't worry about me, I'm more worried about you. What are you doing?" Fuyuhiko said as he looked at Peko with eyes overflowing with concern. Peko quickly slipped something onto a plate and turned to face him. 

"I-I wanted to make something for you since...Today is..Well..." Peko stuttered as she held out a plate of pancakes. Fuyuhiko's eyes widened as he scanned her creation. The pancake was colored a rosy pink color, yet not as rosy as Peko's blushing face as she looked down, almost shameful of herself. Fuyuhiko was speechless, he wasn't sure how to react as he was trying to hold back a lecture on how dangerous that could of been with minimal baking experience. 

A smile spread across his face as he gently took the plate from her hands. Peko looked at him with hopeful eyes as he took a bite of the pancake. Fuyuhiko was surprised on how flavorful it all was, it truly packed a punch and he loved it. "Its delicious." Fuyuhiko said as he gathered a forkful for her and held it up to her mouth. 

Peko hesitated before taking a bite. The sweetness made her taste buds go wild, she nearly melted from the powerful taste. She grinned at Fuyuhiko and struggled to hold eye contact as her face began to redden as she saw him look at her ever so lovingly. 

"Your amazing, Peko. I hope you know that. Which is why I wanted to do something special for you too." He managed to utter these words as he struggled to maintain his sanity as he admired how adorable his lover was. Fuyuhiko rushed out of the kitchen only to return with a fresh bouquet of roses. 

Peko stared in awe as Fuyuhiko wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her close. "You are the reason that I am the man I am today. You mean so much to me, I hoped to give you these roses to show you how much you mean to me but you just proved that just by having you in my life you make everyday something extraordinary. You've grown so much and you are so...so beautiful...I doubt these roses can ever compare. I...I love you, Peko." Fuyuhiko said bashfully as she turned away in attempt to hide his tomato red face. 

Peko could feel her heart pounding in her chest. "I love you too. I always ha-" she began but was soon silenced by Fuyuhiko's lips crashing into hers. It was such a sudden yet passionate move that came as a shock to both of them but it wasn't long until they gave into each others passion.

They pulled away and looked at eachother with the same feelings fluttering within them. They felt like they could stand there forever, it felt as if time completely stopped itself so that this moment could feel like it could last a lifetime. 

Peko pulled Fuyuhiko in for a hug, to which he quickly accepted. They loved the feeling of warmth between them and they held eachother close. Even if these moments didn't last long, it felt like even the little things that they found about eachother was something to admire and that was all that mattered to them. 

The word nearly crept through their mouths in unison...

"Happy Valentines day."

Whew! It sure has been a while, hasn't it?
