Mark POV
I looked her in the eyes, "I can't stay away though." I grabbed her wrist and pulled her back.
"Can we at least be friends Renee." I said softly.
She thought and sighed, "I can't Mark, your new and you shouldn't hang out with someone me." She looked down and took her wrist out out off my grasp.
"Please stay away from me." She turned on her heel and walked away.
Something was going on with her, she had bad things going on in her life and she wasn't going to tell anyone. I could see it in her eyes, she's a girl that had been hurt by her closest family and her closest friends. And they were all the people she loved.
That douch bag Matthew, her so called big brother is one of of her many tormentors. I've only been here for one day and I can already see how bad she's been treated and what these people are like.
I could describe everyone of them with one word but why should I when there's only one that I'm focused on.
I sighed and walked back the direction I came from, there was one place that caught my eye when we drove passed this street.
I walked in and signed up, there was an animal shelter across the street.
"Ok you will be in room 307 on the third floor, but the instructor has called in sick so the assistant will be here any minute." I simply nodded and walked up the stairs to the third floor.
I looked left and right, I caught sight of a bathroom. I walked into the bathroom and put my bag in the counter beside the sink.
I looked in the mirror and sighed, "Time for a new start, he can't get me here." I looked at my reflection my eyes were now red just the thought of him makes my blood boil.
"The world has changed a lot." I looked into my murderous eyes.
"You do too." I opened my bag and reached for the pack.
"You do too." I whispered opening the lid and chugging it down. When I finished I was out of breath.
I saw it drip down my chin and punched the counter, "You will never change!" I yelled at the mirror.
"You can't change who you are!" I gripped the empty pack and shoved it back into my bag. I turned the faucet on, rinsed the blood off and washed my hands.
I walked out the door and bumped into a small figure. I caught her and her duffle bag with one quick motion.
"Sorry I didn't see you." I said standing her up.
She looked up and I froze, she had a bruise on her cheek and it was fresh with a little blood dripping from her forehead. I Inhaled to breath but that was a bad idea.
She smells so good, do it, do it, you know you want to look at her she's helpless.
No shut up, I can't she's broken and she doesn't deserve what you want to do.
Come on Mark, you will be stronger with her blood it's so sweet and strong. Smell
go on it's smells delicious.
