He followed me all day, making sure I never left his sight and at this point he has fallen under the category of being a stalker. I couldn't do anything, though I was actually glad he was there watching me from a distance.
When Matthew or his snobby girlfriend came up to me, he would act as a barrier between me and them. When they would leave he would try to spark up a conversation but I wouldn't acknowledge him.
He has come up to me multiple times asking where classes were, except for the four we had together.
I waited patiently for the day to end so I could go to work and the place I dread most, home to hide...
From what you may ask, you should be asking from who. Yeah who.
That who happens to be Matthew, every day was the same thing. I hid from him until my father got him which was usually around nine or ten at night.
The bell rang, I sprang up from my chair and bolted out of the classroom and headed to the lunch room. As usual he followed me all the way there, everyone in the hallway gave me ugly looks and whispered. I glanced back and saw him coming closer, so I walked faster in order get away from him.
I opened the doors to the lunch room and rushed to my table, I pushed past all the hungry teens and hurried to get out my sweater.
I put it on and covered my face with the hoodie. Thankfully he gave up and went into the lunch line.
"Hiding from us. How pathetic." I looked up and saw my old friends, the leader of there so called group my ex-best friend. I sighed and took out my lunch, "What not talking?" She asked harshly.
I opened my bag and took out a sandwich taking a bite and ignoring them. I looked away and saw Mark marching this way with an angered expression.
"Look just leave me alone will you." I spoke in a whisper, they glared and she raised her hand, going to slap me.
A hand stopped her though, "I'm done with you bullying her." I looked at Amanda shocked, she stood up for me and no one other than Mark ever has.
"Shut up Amanda, you know what she did," she paused and looked at me, "shes not worthy enough to live." She gave me a disgusted look.
"She has every right to do so! We don't even know if she really did that but you jumped to conclusions per usual." She slammed her hand in the table making me flitch. I looked away once again and met the eyes of Mark, he had stopped in his tracks during some point.
"And you followed, per usual. Sit with her go ahead but just know you can't come back to us when you find out the truth." She spat, turned on her heel and walked away.
"Amanda you really didn't have to do that, I'm sure you'd rather be with her." I looked down at my sandwich.
"Trust me Renee, I never believed what your brother said, but she was right I only followed, I'm really sorry for that." a smile came upon my face
"Thank you Amanda." I smiled.
"One question though..." she trailed off, I took two bites of my sandwich nodding my head signaling her to continue.
"Who's the hot new guy following you around." I laughed with my mouth full.
"Amanda don't even get me started." I dramatically rolled my eyes.
