Scroll 4a: Strength for the Mind

Many Time patrollers took off flying to spare and train for the up and coming tournament. Krow had a large smile on his face. "You ok Mister Krow?" C. Bean asked. "He's just really excited for the tournament." Trucks said to C. Bean. "There you are C." A deep voice said. Krow looks over to see a tall muscular white man. His haircut was a buzz cut. He had heavy looking gauntlets on. C. Bean smiled when she saw him. "Hey there Philip. Look who I meet today." Philip frowns when he sees that she was covered in dirt. "Who did this to you C?" His voice had a hint of anger in it. "It was members of the Nuts gang. We got there just in time to stop them before they can do any more harm to C. Bean here." Replied trunks. Philip's hands were in fist now. "I will stop them. I won't let them hurt you anymore C." Philip had his fist in the air now. "That I promise." Trunks and Krow stared at him while he struck his pose. C. Bean was awkwardly laughing. "Kinda reminds you of a certain captain doesn't he?" He smiled and poked trucks with his elbow. Reminding trunks of a certain screw up he had on a mission. "Must you remind me Krow," trucks said to Krow. Krow chuckled. C. Bean starts to walk over to Philip but then "HEY YOU MORONS." A loud voice came from behind trunks and Krow. They turned around and sees the dark-brown fat buu and his two followers behind him but there were five more Nuts gang members with them. "You think you can beat me that easily. I am NewTal. And you won't get away with bra-" Philip had grabbed the fat buu by his face. Krow stood shocked at how fast Philip moved and a smile slowly appears on his face. Philip's face was filled with rage. "You hurt my friend Mr. Tal. Let me repay you for that." Trunks, C. Bean, and any other patrollers watched in fear as Philip pummeled the Nuts gang. Krow's smile has now grown into a full grin.

Philip put one foot onto NewTal and his two followers that were stuck underneath him. "Now tell your boss that I will crack that Shell of his and I will pull out the weak man that he is. I'll make him cry for his mother." Philip's face made NewTal scared beyond belief and he starting to nod getting the message that Philip was sending. Philip let them up and all three ran off. Philip turned around and had a smile on his face. Happy as can be. "I have put this men to justice. Now who wants to help me bring them to jail." He looked around seeing if anyone will help him move the pile of knocked out Nuts gang members. Several patrollers ran over and moved the members out of fear what Philip might do. Krow ran up to Philip. "You. Me. Let's have a sparing match." Krow's eyes were filled with a fire to fight. Philip laughed and said "I will gladly fight you Krow. It will be a true test of my strength. And this is a prefect chance to train for the tournament."

Later Philip and Krow were at a empty fighting ring and enter they're names into a screen before they walked into the ring. After they typed their names on a flying screen above the ring. C. Bean sat down in the stands and waits to see the two fight. Trunks had to leave Krow to fill out a report on what happened at the square. Krow and Philip stare down each other both excited for this spare match. Krow had to look up abit at him. Kinda feels like I'm looking at drake he thought. "So how will this match end? Last man standing?" Philip asked. Krow smiled and nodded. "Let's get this started." Krow and Philip got into the battle stances. Their stare continues. Elder kai stands near by C. Bean. "KROW! If this is training then don't use super sayian. I want you to win without using it. You got that you hooligan." C. Bean jumped at the sudden appearance of elder kai. Krow nods but he kept the stare with Philip. "Oh am sorry there miss." Elder kai apologized for scaring her. "It's ok." She said. Elder kai sits down near her and keeps his eyes on Krow.

Everything was silent. The only sound that can be heard is near by spares from the other rings. Then suddenly Krow charges at Philip and starts to unleash punches as fast as he can make himself go. But Philip blocks each punch with his gauntlets. Krow held his hands. Shaking them trying to keep his mind off the pain. Punching those gauntlets is like punching a steel wall. "I hope your hands are ok Krow," said Philip. "Whys that," Krow asked his opponent. Philip smiled and raised his left gauntlet. "There is a layer of Katchin in these." Philip smiled. Elder kai was stunned. "What's katchin Elder kai?" C. Bean asked him. He shocked his head and explains. "Katchin is the densest martial in the universe. I'm amazed this human was able to make them into gauntlets. Not only is he skilled in combat but he must be a Genius to make katchin gauntlets." Krow smiled. "That's very impressive but I'm sure I'll find a way to break them." Philip smiled and laughed. "I'll give you 10 thousand zen if you do. Want to take that bet?" Krow thought for a second and smiled. "Sure why not." Then the two charge at each other continuing their fight. Each blow blocked by the katchin gauntlets caused a loud boom noise. Elder kai and C. Bean covered their ears trying to protect them from the sounds.
