Scroll 3: The Announcement

"A what," said krow. Chrona sighed and says "We can hold a martial arts tournament for all the time patrollers." Trucks and drake looked at each other and both said "what will be the prize?" Chrona gave it some thought and shrugged. "I haven't come up with one yet." Elder kai looked over at her. "You WHAT?" Chrona covered her ears. "Don't scream you old man. It just kinda popped into my head one night." Chrona gave her innocent smile to Elder kai. Drake looked away from her. "Well we can come up with a grand prize as we prepare for it. If we make a cash prize me and Mom have it covered." Trucks said. Krow groan and laid back in the chair he was in. "But winning cash is so boring though," krow said, "why not have the dragon balls?" Chrona thought about and drake speaks up. "There is something a bit better then that." Everyone looked at him.

"We can use the Namekian Dragon Balls from trunk's timeline. The winner will get to use them." Everyone but krow looked at drake as if he slapped the God of Destruction Beerus. Krow smiled and nodded in agreement. "Now that I can fight for." Chrona thought for a second and sighed. "Alright fine," she said "but the wishes can't mess with any one or mess with time." All four nodded in agreement. "So when will we have this tournament?" Trucks asked. "Me and Chrona have agreed to have it in two weeks and plan to make a announcement about it later this evening." Elder kai said. After they finished talking of the tournament and went on to talk about some gangs being a nuisance in the desert area.

Krow and Trucks leave the time nest to check out the reports. "Whatcha think the reason is Chrona is having a tournament for?" Krow had his arms behind his head. Trucks looked at him and shushes him. "Don't talk about it. She wants to announce it herself. So let's not talk about it." Krow sighs. "Trunks you know I hate keeping secrets and it makes you wonder what's the reason for this." He looks over at him. Trunks flew off and Krow followed. Bugging him with what Chrona has planned. "Ok fine," trunks caved in to Krow, " I say that she's probably do this as a festival for something major that happened in her life. Now can we just get this over with?" Krow thought about it and he shrugged it off. They two landed on top of a giant mushroom. They could see all of the some what desert. "There," krow pointed at a three people pushing around a small Buu girl. Trunks and Krow fly and drop right in front of them. One stopped what he was doing and the others then noticed the two sayians. They made themselves look tough. Well tough as you can be when they're wearing some of the tackiest "gang" clothes they have. The buu girl looked up at Krow and trunks and crawled away and hide herself. "You think you can take us?" One said. "Do you know who we are? We are members of the Nuts gang," said the dark-brown fat buu who seemed to be the leader of the group. "Blah blah blah. Look at me I'm so tough. Do I sound like them trunks?" Krow had a smug smile on him. One of the members got close to the buu. "Boss that's drake's partner. You know the god killer and the boy beside him is that Krow guy." The buu scoffed and says "so what? We're the invincible Nuts gang." Then he charges at the two. "Nothing can bea-" krow's fist makes direct contact with his face. The buu drops onto the ground with a loud thud. "BBOOSSS," yelled the buu's followers. They looked at Krow and he gave them a smile. "I'm sure you two will last longer then him." Then Krow went super sayian. The two Nut gang members grabbed the buu and ran off screaming and crying away from the super sayian. Krow laughed as he went back to normal. Trucks sighed. "Was that necessary? You fist was going over Mach 1 when you punched him." Krow smiled and replies "He looked tough. And Buus are supposed to be really tough." Krow sees the buu girl hiding behind a rock. Part of her "hair" was sticking out. "Hey. They're gone miss buu," when Krow said this the buu girl slowly came out from behind the rock. Her skin was a light-brown and her hair was tied up in a bun. Her shirt and shorts were a bit dirty. She moved a strain of her hair to look at the two and bowed at the two and said "I am very must honored being saved by you two elite patrollers. But those Nuts gang people will come back." Krow sees her tremble a bit. Krow walks over and pats her head. "I know what it's like being bullied. But I'll protect you. I promise." The buu girl looks at him and had tears in her eyes. "We will deal with the Nuts gang when they pop their heads up," trucks said. "Thank you both," she smiled, "would you two walk to the square with me? Just incase they come after me. I have a friend that will take care of me." Krow looked over and trunks nodded. The three walk back to conton city square. Trunks watched their backs. Krow was chatting and joking with the buu girl. He smiled at her amazing smile. "So you know our names. Mind if I ask what's yours," Krow asked. "My friends call me C. Bean. The C stands for chocolate."

When the three made it into city square Chrona appeared as the holographic statue. "Hheeellloooo patrollers. I have a announcement for everyone." Holographic Chrona got everyone's attention and they all waited for the big news. "In two weeks we are going to have tournament." Everyone started to talked about it. "I bet you all are exited as I am. The prize for winning will be revealed when the tournament begins. So for those that are going to take part. Get training and may the best patroller win." Then the hologram statue went back to drake and Krow.
