I have to admit, Piper looks really good in the uniform. With her natural beauty she is just adorable in the clothes.

We enter the training room and I lead her to the center of the room after shutting the door.

She takes a noticeable deep breath and looks up to me. Aww how cute. Its hard to remember how much shorter she is with such a fiery attitude. Great, I gotta stop this before it gets intense. Its not good to be distracted when your training, especially when your the one teaching the other person...

"Ok Kitten are you ready for your first lesson?"

"I've been ready for the past five minutes you've been staring at me." Huh, its time to show her who's boss here. I shoot her a mischievous smile and clear my mind. I flick my wrist and suddenly the ground beneath her feet shakes so hard she falls down.

"Ouch! Jason! Your supposed to teach me not kill me!"

"You are going to need to learn to keep your balance, I just wanted to see how quick on your feet you were. You're going to need lots of help Kitten." I pull her up and she stumbles into me.

Piper pulls away quickly and shoots me a glare. I give her an innocent smile and continue.

"Do you know how to cast normally without pain? With casting you have a basic magic so you can naturally learn spells but the element is a bonus. With the element each person can do special attacks, or abilities, depending on your Element. One of the first spells you will learn is healing. But first, you'll need to learn to control your element a little bit better since the room has already dropped about 10 degrees."

Her eyes widen as she realizes its true. "S-sorry, I just don't know what I'm doing right now..." Piper blushes and I cant help but wonder how many times I can get her to blush... Crap, another time Jason another time.

"It's ok. At least you can use your element pretty easy when your nervous, channeling that will come in handy soon. First, I want you to take deep breaths." She starts to breath a little bit slower and normally. "There you go, now I want you to think about your element, lets start with water."

I grab a cup from the table that I had set up earlier and I bring it back over to her. She eyes the cup but continues to do the breathing exercises. "The more you use the element the more your power will start to drain, but the more you use it will also build stamina. I want you to take the cup and imagine filling it with water. Now, before you try, I will warn you that you might not be able to. There are two types of magic, the one that can create and the one that uses its element. In other words, you might be able to create water, or you might have the type that needs some source of water to start with, and you will be able to feed off of it. The second type is more common so don't feel worried if you cant create the water."

I hand her the cup and she takes it. "Now I am going to blind fold you because it will be easier to focus without distractions for now." I take a cloth wrap from my pocket and tie it around her eyes. Her breath hitches slightly and I notice her pulse quickens. Her grip tightens on the glass.

I place my hands on her shoulders reassuringly and lower my voice to a whisper, trying to relax her. She leans in slightly and a smile tugs at my lips. "It's ok Kitten, just imagine water. What does it look like, sound like, feel like. What does it make you feel. Now image that water pouring down into a cup. Hear the sound it makes, see the ripples around it. Now, put one hand over the cup and image the water flowing from your fingertips into the cup." I take a deep breathe and hold it in as I wait to see if anything happens.

Suddenly from her fingertips shoots a spring of water and she screams. The water stops and she drops the cup. I catch it and pull off the blindfold from her.

Her eyes are wide as she looks at her hand, then the puddle on the floor. Then her eyes travel to the cup, and she sees its full.

"Oh my god. There's water in the cup, oh shizzlesticks its on the floor! I'm so sorry I didn't know that would happen. OH MY GOD I JUST DID THAT! JASON! Did you see that? I mean I didn't see it but I felt it!" Piper's screaming and I over her mouth with my hand to stop her.

"Yes Kitten I did see, and its great that you have the ability to create water as well. It makes you that much more powerful not to have to need a source of power. Now when I remove my hand your Not going to keep screaming right? We don't need the entire palace running here to see who's dying. Now im going to remove my hand."

I realize that my arm is wrapped around her and that she is pressed against my body.  I let go and her cheeks are a slightly deeper pink now. I cant help but smile seeing her so proud of herself.

How cute, she thinks that was powerful. I look at the water and use my heat to make it evaporate.

"Wow. How did you do that? You didn't even touch it. The temperature still feels the same too so you didn't make the whole room warmer." She looks at me curiously and I grin.

"Well when you learn to be as experienced as me you can do more things. I just warmed that spot in particular enough to evaporate the water. Soon you'll be able to control your water enough to make it disappear. Also you can learn to summon the water to your hands so it will sit in the palm of your hand or move to how you think it to move."

I hold out my hand and summon fire to my palm. She looks in awe at my hand as I make the fire dance across my palm and over my wrist. I close my hand and the fire disappears.

" I've had years of practice and When you get farther into your training you will have stronger masters who will test you by distracting you with pain or other manners which you will have to cast under. But for now my job is to get you comfortable with using a little bit of magic, before we jump in the deep end."

She nods as she takes it all in.

"Sadly, we have to go join the others for physical training. Today is one of the special training days where we have one of the Black Robed Mages to come help. Normally we would have more time for magic though. But for now, its time to test your physical ability. This is probably the most important class out of everything you'll need. It can determine life or death situations. You ready?" With that I take her arm and lead her out of there, not waiting for an answer.
