When she got home, Cabaletta ran to her room. She put her backpack on her bed and ran to her mother's room." Mom," she said," I got the solo!!" She looked around. "Mom?" She turned on the flashlight on her phone, which was almost always with her. She didn't hear or see anything out of the ordinary on her dad's side. His stuff was gone because he was working late, so Cabaletta was home with her stay-at-home-mom. She shines the light to her mom's side of the room, where some of her mothers stuff was out. She saw a piece of paper and walked over to it. She picked it up and read it. Dear family,
I have decided to do something that effects us all. I have already done it, so don't stress. I'm sorry I had to leave you all, but I couldn't stay here any longer. Even though my life seems fine, I have many regrets of which I cannot live with. Please do not be sad. Especially my daughter, Cabaletta. I am in a better place now...
                              -Mom
Cabaletta felt something drip on her head. She looked up, shining her light as her gaze moved to above her. All she could see were two feet without shoes. She let out a scream and fell backwards, dropping her phone. She reached up for a shelf and grabbed the edge as hard as she could. She pulled her self up and, with shaky hands, turned on the light. As the light came on, Cabaletta had to blink against it. When her eyes adjusted, she saw her mother's hanging body. She let out another scream, but this time, she continued until they became sobs. She grabbed her phone and quickly dialed 911. After she got off the phone with the police, she called her dad. She quickly told him everything and then hung up. She ran to her room and hid in her covers. She eventually fell asleep while crying, thinking about her mom the whole time.

Also, even though the characters are based on me and T, I have not lost my mother. The characters are based off us by personalities, not real life events. I'm not saying this can't happen, but it hasn't to us.
