The Golden Heron

Across the glistening waters
The Golden heron flies,
Carrying her departed soul.
And oft the ocean cries
For it sees the sadness left behind.

So this one is sad.

I wrote it when I found out that a dear friend of mine died in a car accident. I miss her a lot.

This poem was previously in my short story and poem collection but I've decided to separate the short stories and the poems into different works.
