Jimin had not wanted to accept his slight obsession, but it became harder over time. It was only a momentary glance between himself and Mr Jung, but Jimin had unknowingly clung onto the memory, turning it into something like 'love at first sight'.
He knew it was foolish, but couldn't help himself. He was attracted to his boss, but like, who wouldn't be when he looks that gorgeous. So of course he disregarded the attraction and labelled it as a foolish crush. There was nothing wrong with that right?
That was when Mr Jung stood out from his closed off office. The one which he normally never leaves.
Just the sight of him stepping away from his cage had most of the staff confused and a little worried. If he came out, there was something serious going on, and the tense way in which he carried himself made it clear.
"There will be a whole floor meeting in five minutes. I want everyone there." He was stern, but his expression was a little weak.
"Everyone?" One of the male employees asked standing up from his position behind the thin walls. He had minty green coloured hair, and was considerably pale, a low energy following him.
"Yes, everyone." Mr Jung spoke without hesitation before returning to his office.
Chatting exploded from all around Jimin. Most of the comments were full of concern as well as curiosity. Situations such as these almost never happened, and it was strange to Jimin that it had happened just after finally seeing his boss in the flesh. Whatever this was, had it been stressing Mr Jung out even then?
"Jimin we have to go." A raspy voice whispered to him. He wasn't expecting the sound, and almost jumped in his seat. He had gotten himself too deep in thought again.
When he looked up he saw the tall figure above him. He was dressed in a light pink dress shirt to match his rose pink coloured hair, and plain grey suit pants. He didn't have a tie or a jacket, but Jimin couldn't blame him. It did get hot in here.
"O-oh yeah." Jimin was a little flustered since he had probably been staring blankly ahead for the past few minutes. Also the fact that this unknown co-worker knew him. He wasn't very talkative or active, and his only connections came from rumours that were loudly whispered between his female co-workers.
The taller male walked away as Jimin stood up from his cushioned seat. It took a quick glance at his watch to have him almost running over to the meeting room. It had been almost exactly five minutes, and Jimin did not want to be late.
Luckily, Jimin made it in the room just as the meeting was going to begin.
He quickly took the only open seat at the opposing end to Mr Jung. It seemed most of the female body had taken the spaces closest to Mr Jung. A small amount of annoyance ran through Jimin, but he brushed it off as his boss began to speak.
"I hate to be the one giving you all troubling news but... We have a really big project that we need to handle. It may lead to quite a few of you needing to work over-time, and I want to apologise." He paused almost sighing, and it was clear to Jimin that he was incredibly tired. "Though, I do want you all to give your best. This is very important for the company's sake and I need all of your hard work for us to push through this together successfully." Mr Jung's eyes landed on Jimin as the word 'together' left his mouth. The glance made Jimin slightly flushed.
"I've emailed you all the requirements I've laid out for you individually. That was all so I suggest you all start working as soon as possible." He finished off his speech and there were quiet sighs erupting from all sides of the room before everyone shuffled out of the room.
Jimin was the last one to stand up, getting too caught up in his head once more. Normally he was always on top of things, but more recently he's been spacing out constantly and it's becoming a slight issue.
