The work load grew just as Jimin had expected, stressing him out massively. The clock had been ticking for ages, and Jimin could feel the balls of sweat forming on his forehead. Apart from being plain exhausted he was very time conscious. It was a friday night and Jimin had places to be, but everyone had been kept overtime due to the masses of work to get through.
Everytime he looked over to the clock it seemed to mock him. The tapping of fingers against keyboards had previously been pounding against his head, but the continuous ticking was now the only thing audible to his ears.
Without realising he had been chewing on his pen. The surface ruined. If he didn't leave soon he was going to be late, and he really couldn't be doing that. Jungkook and Seokjin would both be after his head.
He could also tell that everyone was in the same sort of boat. They were all itching to get permission to leave. To escape from the warmed building. It felt even worse than usual, which might have been because of the riding amount of pressure that had been placed upon everyone and not just Jimin himself.
A few times Jimin had also glanced over to the black box that contained his boss and pouted in hopes that he would be noticed and given the okay to flee from the space. He didn't want to seem so childish towards his boss but his situation was beginning to become slightly desperate. He had never expected to be held back at work for this long. It was one of the things Jimin feared the most. It wasn't just because he was precise and time conscious, but because Seokjin was scary when he was mad.

Hoseok slammed his head against the wooden desk. The continuous work was consuming him, and it wasn't just the everlasting white paper, but also the pleading looks he was getting from his employees every now and then. He really did want to let them go, but with the amount of paper covering his desk it was time wasted just looking up at their sorrowful faces.
The most time spent away from his work was when a certain employee had been staring at him, melting Hoseok with the sweetest expression he had ever seen. It was then that he really wished he could come out and dismiss them, but his train of thought would be lost and every second was valuable to him right now.
It took a second begging gaze from Jimin for Hoseok to give in. He really wasn't sure where this sudden pleading behaviour was coming from, but he knew there must some desperation for him to act so childish while in such a professional place.
To Hoseok it felt like the second time he had seen weakness from the younger. It was unusual that this had been happening only recently but then maybe Hoseok had just been trying harder to focus his attention on something else that wasn't work. Considering that he had been working incredibly hard for the past few years on his life with what felt like no break.
Urgently Hoseok rose from his imprinted chair. He had been holding everyone back for long enough. It made him feel quite cruel, but it was a business that had to be held upright. There wasn't much time for rest, and everyone that came to work here must have known that. So as bad as Hoseok felt, he knew that everyone had signed up for this when applying.
As his hand hit the handle on the door he pushed with all the strength in him to open up the heavy material. Once he was in vision the tapping on keyboards stopped and all eyes drew their attention to the extremely tired figure that was Jung Hoseok.
"You can all go. I'm sorry for keeping you here for so long. In future please just leave on your own accord." Just as he finished speaking the orange-haired boy jumped out of his seat and sprinted out of the office without a second thought. It left Hoseok a little astonished, but also curious. There must have been something really important for Jimin to act like that.
