Chapter XIX - Change of Career

ALYSSA'S POV

My day in the stall is busy and i thought that it would be just like the other days but i was wrong. I was busy cooking in the kitchen when Denden and Ella rushing to me while screaming.

Ella: OMG Beeeeesssshhhhh!!!

Alyssa: Ano bang nagyayari?

Denden: Guess who's here?

Alyssa: Is it Kief? No i don't think so, i know may meeting ngayon si Kief eh.

Ella: Hindi si Kief noh pero alam ko matutuwa kang nandito siya.

Alyssa: Sirit na, sino?

Denden: Si Chef Anton, ang idol mo.

Alyssa: Who? Chef Anton? As in Chef Anton Roxas of The Roxas Blvd Resto Chains?

Denden & Ella: The one & the only.

Agad akong tumakbo palabas at tama nga sila, nandito nga si Chef Anton, kausap nina Von at Lau. Dahan-dahan akong lumapit sa kanila.

Laura: Oh here she is. Ly, Chef Anton is looking for you.

Anton: Oh hi Alyssa, it's nice to meet you. I was strolling around when i got hungry and see your stall.

Von: Wag ka nang magtaka Ly, we already told him your name.

Alyssa: It's okay. Good morning Chef Anton, thank you for visiting our stall. Hope you like the food.

Anton: It's good actually, that's why i was looking for the cook because i am looking for an assistant chef for my new branch in Katipunan. So if you're interested, i can schedule you for a taste test.

Alyssa: I really love to but i don't think i would be able to reach your standard.

Anton: I liked your food so maybe i'm gonna like your other dishes. So are you interested? Because if you are, your taste test would be a week from now.

Alyssa: Okay chef i'll be there.

Anton: Okay, see you then. I have to go now.

Pagkaalis ni Chef Anton ay agad kong tinawagan si Kief.

KIEFER'S POV

I was in the middle of a meeting when Ly called me on the phone.

Kiefer: Excuse me guys but i need to take this call.

Investigator: Of course Kief. Go on, take your time.

Pagkalabas ko ng conference room ay agad kong sinagot ang phone.

Kiefer: Hello babe?

Alyssa: Babe, babe, baaabeee.

Kiefer: Mukhang ang saya natin babe ah.

Alyssa: Babe si Chef Anton pumunta rito.

Kiefer: Chef Anton? Yung idol mo?

Alyssa: Yes babe and he likes my dish.

Kiefer: Wow that's nice to know.

Alyssa: At hindi lang yan babe.

Kiefer: Ano pa?

Alyssa: He asks me if i'm interested to be his asst. chef in his new branch sa Katipunan.

Kiefer: Talaga? Congrats babe.
