I take my seat with General Fox next to Generals Hearty and Ford, sipping my tea, waiting for my Continental Corps of 200,000 men to mobilize and replace Ford's, who have been fighting all night in attempts to lock Hossin down. Fox Corps is replacing Hearty's forces to defend against the Conglomerate's overwhelming forces on Esamir.

With our Grand Army Divided into 16 Corps for 16 Generals, then divided equally into night and day operation Corps, each General has a 12-hour shift to make their mark. Operations for each Corps is every eight days as every other General and their Corps will have served by then.
"Status Report," I snap at General Ford.
He sighs heavily. "It's been a trying night, General Valor." He removes his Commissar cap and rustles his brown hair matted with sweat with another heavy sigh.
I roll my eyes. "Status report, General Ford."
"Oh, right," he says as if he didn't hear me the first time. His constant incompetence is going to get him demoted, and he will face the humiliation of serving under one of his own Lieutenant Generals. I'm not complaining, though. Years of cleaning up after Ford's messes has me "living up to my last name," as most prominently quoted by Field Marshall Allen Smith. My Corps and I have earned awards from the Commander in Cheif himself for "intelligent, decisive, and courageous acts of war."
"Hossin and Esamir are open right now. Most of the NC's population is on Esamir harassing Hearty's forces, allowing my men to steamroll through blue territory, though Conglomerate resistance and population is steadily rising. The Vanu, however, have evenly split their forces. On Esamir, it's quite the stalemate, but on Hossin, my men were overwhelmed every fight and they lost us a large amount of territory. NC is holding up well on their front against the VS, which is probably where their population is stationed. The VS currently holds 60% of Hossin, the NC holds 11%, and we hold 29%. VS currently holds 18 Victory points, NC holds five, and TR holds 10. Good luck to you," he says handing me the statistics tablet.
