Five

I have my date with Paul today. Mom is helping me get ready for my big day. Jared zips me up.

"Kim is still getting jealous of me hanging with you." He says with a chuckle.

"Well, too bad." I smirk lightly. "You're my best friend in the pack."

"Mom wants you over sometime." He says.

"Well, I have patrol and a party planned for tomorrow." I say. "Maybe Sunday?"

He nods. "Mom would like to see you again."

I smile. "I miss her too."

Jared runs to the front door when the door bell is rung. I hear him and Paul laughing at something. Mom curls my hair and she walks with me downstairs. Paul smirks when he sees me.

"Shall we go?" He asks, eyeing me up and down.

Uncomfortable, I nod. "Yeah. Let's go."

I get into Paul's truck and I stare out the window. Paul rests hand on my upper thigh. He pulls over and pushes himself on me. I slap him and he just growls. I shove him and he slaps he even harder. I kick him in the nuts and I get out of the truck. I phase and rip my dress before running through the woods.

I run into Jared's wolf, he can tell I'm angry.

I shake my wolf head. I'll tell you about when I phase back.

Jared nods and we head back to my house. Jared, go fetch me some clothes. My dress ripped when I phased out of fear. He cocks his eyebrow when I mention fear. He phases and puts his clothes on. He walks inside and I see Paul in front of me. The pull is gone, the imprint broke when he almost raped me.

I ignore him and Jared runs me some clothes out. I phase back and dress.

"Jared, Paul tried raping me." I tell him. "That's why i phased in fear."

Paul groans and he phases, knowing what he did. Jared sighs and he walks with me inside. He tells my mom what happened. Leah hugs me in comfort.

"I'm gonna take a shower. Jared, can we go to Sam's?"

"Yeah, just put something decent." He smirks.

I'm in Seth's shirt and Leah's boxer undies. I glare at Jared before climbing the stairs. I grab me some clothes before heading towards the bathroom.

- Jared's POV -

I cannot believe Paul right now. Their imprint broke wen he tried forcing her into having sex. The fear in my friend's eyes makes me want to murder Paul. I can't hurt him though, because he is my friend too and he is apart of the pack. I'll just tell Sam, and I'll let Sam deal with Paul's rapist ass.

I hear the shower water start up and Sue walks in. She smiles at me and she opens up a photo album.

"Look at these, Jared." She smiles. "You will recognize some of them."

I scoot near her and we look through my and Page's childhood photo album Sue made of just Page and myself.

- Page's POV -

When I shut the water off, I hear mom and Jared chatting amongst themselves. I find my clothes and I get dressed.

I put my boots on before I go downstairs. They are going through mine and Jared's childhood memories. I grab it, startling them both. I look through the photos with a smile.

"Lets go to Sam's." I declare.

Jared and I walk out to his truck. He drives toward Sam, who lives at the very end of our road. Jared parks beside Paul's truck and we walk inside.

"Sammy!!!!" I yell.

He jogs in and he sees me. "How'd it go?"

I scowl. "Besides getting almost raped by Paul? Horrible."

Sam's face reddens in anger and he glares at Paul. The house phone rings and Sam says, "Paul, saved by the phone. I'll get to you later."

I sit with Rachel and she asks if I'm alright. I'm fine, I'm just scared still. Sam walks in and he looks at me.

"Sue asked me to take custody of you." He says. "She is moving to Forks."

I nod. "That will be fine with me. I'll need a room."

"I'll handle that." He smirks. "The court wants us in the morning. Jared, you and Jacob go and get her stuff; her bed included."

Sam then turns his attention to Paul. They walk outside and I stay put on the couch. Emily calls me into the kitchen and I walk in there with her. She is glad to have me here now.

"I'm going to a graduation party with Jacob and Seth tomorrow in Forks." I tell Emily. "I am excited."

We talk some and Jared and Jacob come in with my bed. They bring it to the furthest room and set it up and unpack my things for me. When they are done, Jared heads home to tell his mom and to probably argue with Kim again.

I go to my room here and I close the door. I lay out my court clothes and I get dressed for bed. Rachel walks in, wanting to sleep in the bed beside me, just in case Paul does that again.

We face opposite ways and we both drift off to sleep.
