Eleven

14 days later.

It's been fourteen days since the wedding. I am laying in my doggy bed, in wolf form when I smell trouble. Staying in wolf form, I trot down to the second floor.

"Hey, Page." Emmett pets me.

Alice goes into a vision and re trouble smell grows intense. She grabs Carlisle's phone and dials Bella's number, I can tell by the sound of the buttons.

"Bella, are you okay?" She asks as she puts the phone on speaker.

"Alice, is it normal for vampires to go into shock?" Bella asks. "Alice, I think I'm pregnant."

I growl.

Carlisle grabs the phone. "Bella...."

"Carlisle, I swear something just moved inside me."

"Carlisle, tell me this is impossible." Edwards voice comes on the phone.

"It's rare, but it isn't a good outcome." Carlisle speaks softly. "Come home immediately."

They hang up. I hop on the couch and I curl up, staying in wolf form.

"Go phase before they get back." Alice says.

I whimper.

"You can stay like that tomorrow." She promises.

I bark at her and I trot up to my room. Being human crosses my mind and I phase. I put on some jean cropped pants and a blouse, before putting my sneakers on. I brush my long brown hair before jogging downstairs.

"Cute!" Alice chirps. "I love that your hair is long. I like the pack tattoo."

"Alice." Jasper groans. "Quit rambling on, baby."

Alice pouts.

"Your pour is too adorable, Alice." I coo.

I hear the wheels on Edwards Volvo before the vampires.

"I hear Edward and Bella." I sigh.

"You hear better than us too!" Emmett booms.

"I'm a dog, I have dog ears and a dog nose." I shrug. "I smelled trouble when Alice had her vision about Bella."

I walk outside when we all hear them on the gravel drive. Bella runs up and she hugs me. I frown and I hug her back.

"I'll be in wolf form all day tomorrow." I smile. "Y'all will have a pet."

Bella chuckles at me before we walk inside. Edward is glaring at me.

"Why do you accept this?" He asks.

"Because my anorexia damaged me enough to where I can't have babies. I'll take care of the baby, until Bella wakes. I know you will change her, Eddie-boy."

"Don't call me that." He groans.

"Don't feel bad." Emmett mutters. "She calls me Emmy-bear."

Edward laughs at that nickname. I walk upstairs, where Bella is on the sofa. I sit beside her.

"Hello, Isabella Cullen." I smirk. "I like Isabella, it goes better with you."

"Then you can call me Isabella." She says sternly.

I nod my head as I listen to the baby's heartbeat. "A hybrid. I'm listening to the baby's steady heartbeat."

"She has better hearing than us." Jasper says.

"She is stronger than me." Emmett makes sure to bring up.

Isabella's widen. "You're stronger that Emmett Cullen? The stronger vamp in the coven?"

I nod. "Yeah. But we are the same speed."

"So, the baby has a strong heartbeat?" Carlisle asks. "Wanna be my doctor assistant? I need your ears."

I smile. "I would love to."

I gasp. "It just grew! The baby will be born within four months. Like a dog , an actual dog, does. Hybrids are interesting."

I sit back and listen to he hybrids heartbeat. I am smiling and wishing I could have kids of my own.

"You know, when she is changed the treaty will break..."

I sigh. "Can you help me get pregnant, Doctor? Can you check my fertility?"

Carlisle smiles warmly. "Yes. Follow me." 

Esme smiles at us as we walk upstairs. He has me lay down.

"I want to do a Pap smear, Page." He says. "I'm gonna call Sue to tell her to be with you."

"Okay." I smile.

Carlisle hands me a hospital gown before stepping out. Alice steps in as I am stripping from the waist down. I put the gown on.

"You have a beautiful body, Page." Alice smiles. "I hope Carlisle helps you have babies."

"I do too, he will be my guardian angel if he can help me." I smile.

"I'm sure he can." Alice says. "He is a genius."

Carlisle walks in. Alice declares she is staying by my side. Carlisle tells me to lay back and to raise my legs up, and to spread them. Alice sits beside me while Carlisle does the Pap smear and a tubogram.

"I'll be right back." He tells me. "Go ahead and get back dressed."

I put my panties and cropped jeans back on. I sit on the bed again, and Alice brags about Carlisle. She says it is an honor that he offered me a job as his assistant.

"Alright," Carlisle says stepping in. "I can't find why you are infertile. But I am going to put you on Clomid. It is a pill that can increase your levels of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), boosting ovulation." He says. "If you don't respond to the pills, I'll have to do an injectable gonadotropins. To stimulate the ovaries directly."

I nod. "Where is this... pill?" I ask.

"I called it in." He says. "Drive my black Mercedes to the local pharmacy and pick them up."

Alice drags me out to the car and tosses me the keys. I get in beside the wheel. I start it up when Alice is all the way in. I drive away from the house, and into town. I haven't been in this actual town before, I think I like the small town feel.

Alice and I walk into the pharmacy. I walk to the desk.

"Page Clearwater." I tell the pharmacist. "I had a fertility pill called in by dr Cullen."

"I have it, give me five minutes." She says politely.

I tap my nails on the desk as I wait for the pharmacist. She hands me the medicine and I show her my insurance card. She types in my information and I thank her for her time before getting my card back.

Alice and I get back in the car. I drive back home. Carlisle tells me to take one for five days. Then he will check again. I take one pill, to start off.

"I'm gonna sleep in the bed, I don't wanna phase until tomorrow."

I go up to my room and I climb into my bed. I close my eyes and I let sleep consume me.
