House of Horror

"Hurry, you guys!" Dustin shouts while running up the stairs with his crew behind him. "We only got twenty seconds."

I hope they don't hide in the same place like before. Dustin hoped.

Dustin dodged into a random dark room with a bed, a rusty old shelf, along with an old dusty T.V.

Dang old televisions! Dustin slighly chuckled. Now we have flat screen televisions and all crazy channels. I remember mama old stories, she told that televisions were small and only had five channels when she grew up. Her old t.v show was M.A.S.H. Never even watched it, but I highly bet she stills watch it when Penel and I go to school.

Dustin looked around to find a good place to hide. A closet? Seekers always check there. Under the bed? Now, he's the monster!

Hide somewhere unique pronto! Dustin's mind ordered. He rush towards the shelf. He slide opened the bottom cabinet. Full of cobwebs. Dustin swept them away. He cramped his body in and closed the the bottom cabinet from the inside. It was cramped and compressed. Dustin was gasping. He's only going to let some air in when Sahia has pass. The higher cabinets were smaller and likely to cave in from Dustin's weight.

Ashley didn't know where to hide, but she knows she got to act fast. She dodged into the bedroom right next Dustin. She paused and her eyes dilated. No bed. Just a blanket covering up something up a figure within the room. She scent a rotten odor of decomposition lingering in the air. She swallowed down her own stomach content with disgust.

"Ready or not, I will seek revenge." A whisper echoed of a woman's voice can be heard throughout the room. It bounced off the walls of the room. Goosebumps arisen from Ashley's arms.

Ashley quickly ran across the room and head into the closet. She accidentally crashed into old clothes that's obviously been here for decades. Ashley sat down and crawled down to the farthest corner.

"Oh no, no, no!" George said. "Shoot! I don't have enough time." George ran to the far end of the hall on the second floor. There was another dark wooded stair case. He quickly ran up the stairs as quiet as he could.

So many rooms... George thought. He ran across the hallway and looked around. He looked up and saw a trap door upon the cieling. George assumes it's the attic door. He jumped and grabbed the door handle. He pulled down ending up shooting it opened and landing on his back creating loud thumps on impact. The ladder slide down. George can hear running footsteps coming from the floor below him.

George climbed to the top of the ladder. He pulled the ladder back up to make the attic door shut. He took out his phone and turned on his flashlight. Dust and the smell of decomposition was lingering. The atmosphere felt cramped, cold, and eerie. George point to the corner of the attic. He saw a body. The skin was green and brown. Fungi was on all parts of the body. The person must of died of starvation by the looks of it.

"Oh my goodness." George pants. Then nausea rose from the looks of the body. He turned away and shined his flashlight to another corner. This time, two bodies. One skeletal remains and one still decomposing. George fought back the urge to vomit. They died from all the same concept. Died from starvation. They were all former hiders from previous hide and seeks in the past.

George attempted to push down on the attic latch. No luck. Hunger will soon overcome George although the hide and seek has past. George scoot back to another corner of the cramped and low height attic that hasn't been decorated by bodies.

Everyone hiding. One possessed seeker to find them exchange for their lives. Sahia stopped at the edge of the second floor hallway. Looking into the foggy window reflection. Alma's body was going pale.

It's only a matter of time. Sahia thought. Her body would become dead as me or can last until crack of dawn.

From the previous seekers whom were possessed by her usually become wilted and die before 5 a.m. She head up the stairs onto the third floor. Sahia knew she heard someone up here. She checked every room on the third floor. Sahia can smell the living person crawling under the skin. She looked up and saw the attic door. She smiled.

The attic door locks from the outside. She laughed in thought. Maybe I can help put this living creature into a state of insanity. I know foolish humans locked themselves up there and slowly become starved and mad for the rest of their life.

Tyler sat next to Colleen in the cold garage in the back of the house on ground floor. The door was locked and didn't have to worry about Alma aka Sahia coming in. Everything looked pretty normal.

"Would she ever find us?" Colleen asks.

"Shhhhhh!" Tyler shushed her.

"Why?"

"Because she can be nearby." Tyler replied.

"I think she's upstairs where most hiders hide." Colleen assumes.

"Dustin said we should move when Sahia passes by."

"Sahia didn't pass by so, we are fine."

"I hope so too." Tyler sighed. "I hope also that our friends would be oka-" He was cut off by the loud screaming that came from floors above from them.
