I think I heard something I didn’t want to hear. My jaw dropped. Ash and CASSIE?! Never thought of that. I saw Cassie walk out with a smile on her face. That’s totally going in my story. “What’s up?” Cole was beginning to be a bit annoying.  “Just going to star a new plot.” I make up a new page, and begin writing. Cole goes into the fridge and throws me a water. “Hydrate yourself.” I had tea packets in my backpack, but I didn’t feel like getting it out. I open the top the the bottle and sip it a few times. My fingers were firing on my keyboard, and the tapping of the keys filled the room. I was sure to write about how the ‘re-rums’ were extremely quiet. All of the other “friends” were very load. Unless they had their phones. I finally got the chance to write about the kiss. I’m not exactly sure what to write about, as in my opinion. Honestly, it feels a little weird to know that Ashton kissed another girl. He never expressed his feelings, like at all until today in the practice room. Well, maybe he has. he has kind of always been there, waiting. Holy Crap! I never thought about it like this! Has he had a crush on me? No. NO. I refuse to think about that. NO. ew. I continue to click my keys in a random word order, just letting my mind take its course. I really enjoy writing, but while I’m on the ramp, I can’t engage in activities that aren’t common. We aren’t really allowed to be extraordinarily different. Some things are just completely and utterly forbidden. I wish that I could just sit with the school reporters and make real friends instead of pretending to be something I surely am not.I decided to express that in my book. I saw Ashton finally walk out, and his hair was messy. He tends to run his fingers through them when he’s stressed. “How was it?” I didn’t look up from my laptop. “What?” His voice was sleepy and low-toned.

“The kiss.”

“The what?”

“Oh, I’m not stupid. the kiss with Cassie.”

He pretended to be shocked. Cassie had already went into one of the bedrooms. I could hear her laptop keys tapping like mine. “Whatever. Don’t tell me.” I rolled my eyes and pushed in my headphones. Ed Sheeran is very comforting in times like these. I looked up for a minor second to watch Ashton go into the bedroom Cassie was in.  If I focused extremely hard, I could hear the conversation. “Hey,” Cassie sounded as if she was expecting him. Ash was being weird. Nervous. Instead of being himself, he went with a solemn, “Hello.” tap, tap, tap. “Did you tell anyone about us?” The keys stopped. “Us? So there’s an us now, huh? Because of one kiss? And if you’re wondering, which you are, she is listening. And,Torey, as for you, it was amazing, but we aren’t a thing!” I couldn’t help but smile. I knew that that condemning only made him like her better. I had some extra respect for her as well, but it is kind of weird to know someone knows exactly what you’re thinking. However, it is a good tool to have if you know someone might backstab you, or is cheating on you. I guess that’s how Cassie fits, what about the others?

I guess this road trip is going to get pretty awkward. “10 hours, Cole.”  i was ready to punch Cassie smack dab in the face. she was getting on my last nerve with this stupid mind reading stuff. I storm into one of the empty rooms and blast All Time Low in my earbuds.  No Messages. I didn’t think that Kelly would be that mad about me ditching the shopping spree. I texted her, right? Whatever. I have to focus. I went out of the room , to ask the driver where we were going. “We don’t have one!” Cassidy yelled as i opened the door. I’m almost on my last straw. “Why don’t you just ask me to stop listening?” That’s it. I stormed into the room where she was, and when i snapped her what i thought was my deathly stare into her eyes, she fell to the ground.
