‘“Be ready, little V. I’m on my way.’ That is all she said. But, Tyler. It was Kelly. And ready for what?” He wrapped his arm around me. “I know this is hard, but could you tell us what you think it is?” I told everyone how I thought that the blocks were connection devices over the state to show people where to go, or what to do. I knew this, because I didn’t just hear Kelly, I heard some different language of people speaking, but for some reason i could understand it. They were sending battle plans.

“We need to go. Now.” Ash ran with Cassie tagging along behind. Then, Cole and Stephanie, who of which I have not met yet, and we were last to go.

When I sat on the bed I had claimed, I really didn’t now if everything was going to be okay.  My best friend was planning my death! No, that’s not cool in my book! I will give it to her that it was pretty epic that she gave me my death threat through a block of ice. Tyler walked in, very quietly. “Hey,” He whispered. “Hey! Why are you whispering?”  He shrugged and handed me the Chinese food I had been craving. “How did you-” Before I could even get the words out, we said simultaneously, “Cassie.” Orange chicken with a tiny bit of Chow Mein. I knew what he wanted. California roll. “Thank you so much this is really good,” I said before i could stuff my mouth. He nodded ‘You’re welcome’ and we sat and talked until i feel asleep. When i woke up by another jolt, Tyler woke too, but on the bunk below me. He punched the mattress with his fist, and i made some kind of noise that sounded like, ughghuhhhaghhhhhh. I hopped down, slipped on my boots over my black sweatpants, pulled on a sweatshirt over my middle-school band shirt. I checked my arm for ponytail holders, because If i was going to get out, I am not having stuff in my face. I checked and made sure Tyler was behind me, and he was still kind of groggy. I don’t blame him. The clock on my computer said it was 3:35 in the morning. I made my way to the main room, that looked most like an RV. the 18 other grumpy teens and 20-year-olds were grumbling why on earth we were rudely disturbed. I knew I needed to meet everyone, but I didn’t think that this was a really good time to get acquainted with the people I’d be risking my life with. I hated people seeing me without my makeup on. Although it didn’t really matter, I still felt like I was blinding people. “Alroy!” I yelled. Pushing through the crowd, I probably said “Excuse me.” to everyone.  Alroy was having an asthma attack. “Tyler! Come now! Please! Hurry!” I had the unfortunate wheeze in my breath. i reached into my sweater pocket and gave him my inhaler. He was deep blue, but he ended up being okay in the end. After he was back on the breathing track, Tyler walked in. “Well. Look who decided to show up. Alroy was about the right color now, so he laughed and handed me the inhaler. “ ‘Here ya  go,”

“No, keep it. I don’t have asthma.” He looked shocked, and so did Tyler. “Thank ya, fer savin’ me life.” He said just as we walked out. “No big deal,” I said, and walked away. Tyler was staring to walk in front of me, and I held my hand out in front, and said, “Get your stuff. Everything.” I looked at him real serious and he ran  with me. I threw my stuff as fast as i could back into my backpack and big suitcase. I did one last check, and Tyler and i darted out the door. Before we made our way out, I told Alroy to pack too. “EVERYONE RUN!” So, for some reason, without question, they ran as fast as I did. We got about 6 or 7 minutes into running when Alroy tripped on a branch. I was just about to  help him up when, BOOM.
