With his hand in mine, and my hair flying like wet silk on a clothesline,h led me to a tree, and we sat. “Tyler,” I said once again. “We are on a mission, and time is-” “Wasting. I know. But i just needed to talk to you.” He kept looking ahead, which implied that he was worried. Oh no. “What’s wrong?” I looked into his eyes, and he looked away. He didn’t let go of my hand, though. “Remember when i put my hands in my face?” I nodded. “Well, I identify things. Its like I take a picture, and then i search it up in my head. That is why I was so smart back in school.” I felt like I needed a sigh of relief. “The ice isn’t really ice. People who touch it will freeze. In time, where they were standing, everything.” He squeezed my hand tight. “Tyler, we just won’t touch it. It’s okay.” His face told me it wasn’t. I put my hand on his cheeks, look him in the eyes and said, “Look at me. Everything is okay. You won’t let anything happen to me, will you?” He shook his head. “See? You, me. Remember when we were up against those pops? We can do it again. Trust me.” He leaned forward, and I fell back to November of four years ago, and i felt all the magic that it was. I’m exactly where I need to be. Wherever I am, wherever I go, I’m okay.”No you aren’t.” I pulled back to see Cassie with her arm on one hip and the other around Ash, who was scarred for life. I had been sitting on my feet, so I had problems getting up. “Will you please stop getting into my head?” Cassie rolled her eyes and scoffed. “W-we were wondering about the ice?” Ash stuttered when he was nervous or astonished. “C’mere.” I pulled him away from the crowd. “You said that you would never fall in love.” I blinked really hard. “Says the guy who kissed Cassie! How come you never told me?” Before I could say anything else, he interrupted me. “Well, I didn’t knock anyone out!” “Hey, that wasn’t my fault. She should mind her own buisness.” Just like I predicted, Cassie sassy walked herself over. “Is the a problem?” She couldn’t have been more annoying. “Yes, actually. You’re here.” Ashton was smart to take a step back. Before she could do anything, i felt a hand on my shoulder. “Don’t-you-dare-do-anything.” Tyler didn’t like to see my temper unravel. He pulled me away, while everyone talked about the ice. We stood against the tree, watching everyone think. “So, we’re back in buisness?” He smiled, as i hit him on the shoulder playfully. “Back in Buisness.” I gave him the mightiest fist-bump I could give. “I should go help. “ He let go of my hand and went over to explain to everyone what the ice was. I walked over just in time to hear Cassie say, “And you know this, because..” He stopped explaining to the others and said, “You try touching it, go on.” she scoffed, and ran away. We secretly fist-bumped me behind our backs. I watched Tyler’s smirk briefly appear on his small face. “Come on,” He had a gigantic grin as he grabbed my hand and we went to examine the ice. I had a sip in my step. I think that I’m falling for this adrenalin in my heart. Maybe Tyler is too, because he’s really excited right now.
I stood behind and listen to everyone contemplate ice. Tyler kept running his fingers through his already-ruined quiff. (My fault. I like his hair down.) Ashton was making dumb jock faces at Cassie. I pointed my index finger towards my throat and Tyler laughed. I had been sitting for about 10 minutes before he called me over. “What do we got?” I really need to watch my grammar. “They want you to listen,” Ashton said, quite sharply. Tyler nudged me on my arm. He mouthed the words “Go ahead,” I squatted down near the block, as close as I could, and i heard something I never wanted to. My hand must’ve covered my mouth, because there were people squatting with me.
I heard something that i could barely wrap my hand around. What I heard was Kelly.
Hey Guys! I might be posting more of it soon! - A :Dxxxx
