"I can't help the hours I work Con," he sighed as she handed him a glass of wine and lead him outside. The girls were fast asleep and she lay down so her head was on his lap,

"I know... I know..." She uttered, "it's just the girls are growing up so fast and they're not going to want to spend time with us forever,"

He exhaled and she took his hand,

"You could always reduce your hours a bit... I mean the mortgage is paid for..."

"I married you and promise to provide for you," he admitted, "I've always known you earn more than me but..." He shook his head, "you're my girls... I want to be able to provide for you," she sat up and took his hands,

"I don't want money... I want time with you, I want time spent with out girls... I don't want your male pride to make you work more hours than we need at the expense of our girls..."

She ran her hand across his face, "this may surprise you, but I didn't marry you for your money,"

He laughed as she smirked at him, "think about it... For me... And Mia and Soph..."

He placed his wine down and kissed her gently, "I'd anything for you, you know that."

Connie held Jacobs hand as they watched how happy their girls looked as they watched the elephants bathing at whipsnade zoo.

Sophie slipped her hand into her sisters and they squealed with delight as the keepers beckoned them over.

Jacob took pictures and as the girls returned he scooped Sophie up onto his shoulders as Mia insisted on reading the map and leading them to the giraffe enclosure.

Mia snapped a few selfies of her and Connie, before she took some photos of the four of them.

"Night baby," Connie smiled, sitting on the side of Mias bed, surprised as she sat up and hugged her tightly,

"I'm seven mum,"

"That's enough of that... You'll always be my baby,"

"What about me?" Sophie smiled, running in and jumping in bed beside her sister,

"Can we have a sleepover Mia? Please," she asked, and Mia laughed,

"Whenever you want,"

"Your my baby too," Connie smiled, kissing Sophie's forehead gently,

Connie watched as Sophie fell asleep quickly,

"You're a great big sister Mia masters," Connie smiled,

"I love you mum," Mia told Connie, as she kissed her goodnight.

"Thank you," Jacob told her that night and she handed him some more pizza,

"What for?" She asked, curling into him on the sofa,

"You manage to stay so grounded and can always focus on what our real priorities are..."

"I used to love work more than anything," she told him, "but now I have you and our girls... Things are different... I still love work, but I love all of you far more."
