we walked into my front door. "Marine? Is that you?" I heard Jared say from the kitchen. As Jared walked in, Felix looked nervously at me.

"Is that your dad?" He asked. I shook my head, and said,

"I wish!" Felix looked tensed. You see Jared is a very Burly man. And he would intimidate anyone. Also I am sure Felix was wondering who he was to me.

"Hey Jared. This is Felix, I'm helping him with something. Felix this is Jared, my guardian." As soon as I said that, I saw Felix relax. Jared hesitated then smiled, holding out his hand to Felix. Jared knew about Felix.

"Nice to meet you Felix." He said. Felix shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you too sir." Felix said, smiling lopsidedly. Jared looked at me questioningly, and wanting answers obviously.

"Felix, how about you go ahead into the living room. I said, pointing to it. He nodded and walked inside. "I'll be with you in just a second. I'll just help Jared with snacks." I said. I followed Jared into the Kitchen.

"Is that the kid who has caused all this trouble for you?" He asked. I nodded. He looked at me even more puzzled. I sighed.

"He didn't mean any of it to happen. It was just others in the school." I said, grabbing a bag of chips out of the cabinet.

"That better be the case." He said. After they finished preparing snacks, they went into the living room and set things down. I realized my music for the piano was still out and a mess. Felix was observing it. He looked up at me in bewilderment.

"Do you play this?" He asked. I nodded. "This Song is Hammerklavier, and a nearly impossible song to play." He said. I was surprised by his knowledge of it.

"How did you know that?" I asked.

"I play the piano. It's one of my favorite things to do." He said. I was really surprised by that.

"Do you play well?" I asked. He shrugged.

"I'm okay." He said.

"Wanna try?"

He hesitated. "Why not." He said. He sat at the bench, popped his fingers, looked at me then down at his fingers. He started to play, and very quickly I knew he was playing Fur Elise. He played amazingly. I have never played that song as well as he did.

"Wow." I said, because that was all I could say. It was just awkward after wards. "So do you wanna go to my room?" I asked.

"Sure." He said, and we walked up there with the snacks.

"Okay, lesson one: Don't do drugs, or drink, or smoke." I said.

"So I can't do anything like that? Not even parties? I mean I don't smoke or do drugs, but I sometimes drink." He said. I hit him in the head.

"Idiot. Drinking at a young age, is almost as bad as drugs! Gosh, you and your "Friends" are idiots. If you drink and do drugs and all that crap, you'll more than likely go into the real world, and you'll be homeless." I said.

"What about prescription pills?" He asked. I rolled my eyes.

"Yes you can have those only if you are actually hurting, or allergies, but not just for fun, because that is so lame. drugs, and alcohol are lame." I said.

"So when you get home, I want you to throw out all of the drugs, except prescription, and all alcohol, even if it is your parents. You don't need the temptation. Also ask your parents to hide the medicine, and you can ask them to give you the amount of it allowed." I said. He sighed.

"Don't worry I've never put a drug in my mouth just for the feeling." He said.

"Lesson Two: Don't cuss. Over the week I want you to try to get in the habit of no swearing. If it doesn't work two weeks, then three weeks, then four." I said. He looked at me in disbelief.

"Why? What's so bad about it?" He asked.

"It makes you sound less educated, and swearing is dumb, substitute your swear words with something else. Like if you are going to say the s-word, then instead say poop or crap, because they are the same thing just said differently, and people just use the worse of the three. If you are going to say the f-bomb then instead say freakin' or shoot. or do that for the s-word too. It's a lot more funny, and fun. Be creative, because swear words, don't show any sign of imagination." I said. He sighed again, but nodded.

"I'll leave you with those two." I said.

"Why do you hate swear words so much, and alcohol. It's like you don't even want adults drinking, or any of that." He said.

"Yeah, I don't." I said. "And I hate it because of my past." I said.

"And what's your past like." He said, with concern, and curiosity.

"I'll tell you later." I said.

After a bit, a smirk came to Felix's face. "What?" I asked.

"I still haven't gotten my revenge." He said. My eyes widened. That's right, that was his friends revenge, not his! I laughed awkwardly.

"That's s nice of you to offer, but I'll decline." I said.

"You're not declining. That punch really did hurt, I mean did you see how swollen my face was? I'm definitely getting you back!" He said. I doubted it at the time, but little did I know that he would get me back three times as hard.
