Chapter 12 Introductions

The institute children were all sitting with the adults in the kitchen waiting for breakfast all except Jonathan. Once Jocelyn and Luke came in without their son everyone became worried.

"Where is jon?" Jocelyn asked looking to jace.

"I don't know."

"He was pretty upset last night maybe he went for a walk or something to clear his head?" Right as the words were out of Alec's mouth the Morgenstern siblings walked in with jonathan. The whole room grew errily quite. They were all staring at Jon's hand in Clary's and the smile he gave to Sebastian.

"What the... ?"

"Jace language please." Celine asked. "Good morning." The silent Herondale woman said when no one eles did.

"Morning celine." Jon answered smiling before he leaned next to clary who sat at her usual seat on the counter. What astonished them even more was when she kissed his cheek and smiled at him.

"What's going on Jonathan?" Luke asked and clary laughed.

"Look how worried they all seem?" Clary said as Sebastian handed her a cup of coffee. She took a sip and smiled. "Mmm black like my soul." She handed the cup to jonathan before she hopped down and wrapped her arms around her others brother's waist and kissed his shoulder. He turned in her arms and kissed her forehead before he whispered something in her ear. "Hmmm."

"Jonathan why don't you meet our sister and myself in the green house after you've eaten hmm?" Jace hoped that Jon would listen just so they could question him about his strange behavior just now.

"I can just go with you both now or do you want some time alone?" Though he tried not to sound like a needy, whinny little boy both clary and Sebastian saw how much he wanted to be with them with just the look in his eyes. Sebastian smirked and looked to clary who smiled up at him.

"Of course not. Though it might be a good idea to eat or our sister might just force feed you." Clary smacked Sebastian's arm and it made Jonathan smile. He didn't know why but since he had decided to be with his siblings he felt lighter. He didn't feel as if there was something he forgotten and needed to find and he had never slept or woken up feeling so great like he had before he slept in the arms of his siblings.

Last night after he told Clary of his decision she had taken him to their room. Where Sebastian had just gotten out of the shower when he saw them.

"What is this?" He demanded of clary though he couldn't keep his eyes off his twin.

"He's made the same choice I have." She smiled at Jonathan before she went and hugged Sebastian. "He wants to be with us. He's accepted both you and I."

"Does he now?" Sebastian's eyes had grown harder as he looked back to his brother. "So you know what I am? You know that i'm a monster? that I could kill you and everyone in this place alone?"  Sebastian walked out of his arms and stood in front of his brother with so much pain and hatred in his eyes.

"Sebastian enough please!" Clary yelled at him grabbing onto his arm.

"No! he has to know! He needs to ..." Both the Angel and The demon were shocked at Jonathan's next words.

"I don't care! All of my life I've felt like I was missing something. Like I was incomplete but I didn't know what. The day I found clary I though that she was the only thing missing from me but then I met you " Jonathan approached Sebastian and a teary eyed clary. He put his hands on each of their shoulders. " I have spent my whole life being jealous of the Lightwood children because they had each other.  They had something that should have been mind yet was taken from me before I could even remember what it was.I tried to fill the missing void in my heart with them and jace but it never worked. Then I met you both and I didn't feel alone or empty anymore. This is the first time in my life that I've ever felt that and it's because of you. So I don't care if you are a monster. You are my brother, my twin without you i'm incomplete. I need you brother . I need you both so please don't push me away." What was shocking then was when Sebastian himself had wrapped his arms around his twin.
