"She never told you." Clary looked shocked.

"Who is he?" Jonathan turned to his mother. "WHY DOES HE LOOK LIKE ME?"

"I'm sorry I never told you. I though... I though..." Jocelyn was stuttering she couldn't believe this. She never though she would ever have the chance to see him again. Jonathan walked forward. He didn't know what he was going to do before Clary walked in between him and his mother.

"This is not the place to start fighting your own mother. Our brother is over there recovering. I don't need her to be stuck with us in here."

"Brother." He whispered it like a prayer. Clary smiled at his innocence.

"Yes, our brother. Give him time to recover and then it'll be like it was always meant to be between us." She put her hand on his cheek. "Now all of you get out of here."

"As if?" Jace said.

"You really think we will leave two of Valentine's children alone." Stephan growled.

"What can we do while he is clearly unconscious?"

"That is true and we could always check on them." Celine quietly spoke holding on to Stephan's arm. Clary smirked.

"See your wife agrees with me."

"Fine." Stephan  stormed out of the room pulling everyone out with him. As the door closed behind them a chuckle rang out in the room.

"That was a really brilliant performance, Angel."

"What are you doing here Sebastian?" She turned around and kicked the door to make sure that no one was there.

"There's been a change of plans, darling."

"So you ready to play truth and dare ? You do know Izzy has a target on your back since the last time we played and you made Alec melt all her makeup."

"How was I suppose to know she'd come home early." Jonathan replied as he and Jace reached the library door and the sight that awaited them on the inside shocked them into silence. There stood a goddess. She stood glazing into the lite fireplace. It bathed her in it's light turning her pale skin into a beckon of light. Her red hair was golden and a blaze. She was a sight that could make any man weak at the knees even though she was dressed in a large knitted black sweater and black tights.

"Are you going to continue gawking at me or are you going to come in?" Clary spat turning toward the two golden boys.

"Sorry we didn't realize you were in here." Jace was the first to recover and respond.

"How's our brother?" Jonathan asked as soon as he could recover from the sight. Clary smiled at him.

"He's fine. A little banged up but nothing he hasn't put himself into before."

"What do you mean?" Jace asked. Sometimes the way she talked just confused him but he did love to watch the way her lips moved when she did.

"He's cocky and has a big mouth a lot of the time those two things get him into these kinds of ...situations." the boys nodded their heads in understanding. "So what are two handsome young boys like yourselves doing here at this time?" She raised one eye brow giving them an amused looked when her words caused them to look like fish on dry land.

"Ummm... We're playing truth or dare. You should play with us if you have anything to do." Jace once again replied first.

"We'd love to." a dark, deep voice answered from behind them. The boys turned around so quickly they looked like a cartoon. The sight earned a chuckle from the mysterious man that only an hour ago laid on a bed in the infirmary. He looked like a replica of Jonathan but he was more muscular, had broader shoulders, his face was made up of sharper lines that could cut, and his eyes were black. The way he leaned up against the door frame , dressed in all black, made him look like the type of boy you never wanted to mess with.  "Good evening sorella. You look lovely as always." He started walking toward them but stopped a foot away from them when Jonathan spoke up.
