We eventually reach the gym for the girl's practice. When we walk in all the girls turn toward the two of us. I notice that one girl gasped at the sight of us, but the other girls started saying random stuff such as, "Sugawara-san!" "Who's she?" "Did you finally get a girlfriend?!" "She looks like a first year." "Why did you bring her here?" After the question "Did you finally get a girlfriend" I notice Sugawara blushes.
"No..." Sugawara responds, "I have brought her here because she would like to join the team. she's a great player, and she just got to this school today."
"Wow... are you by any chance (Y/N)?" A girl wearing a jersey sporting the number '1' asks.
"Yes." I reply trying my hardest not to get over excited that she knows me.
"Wow! I'm so excited to have you here! I'm sure you'll be a big help!" She began rambling.
"I'll try my best!" I reassured
"Okay, I think I'll get going then..." Sugawara trailed off while turning to leave.
"Thank you so much for bringing me here, Sugawara-san!" I yell before he leaves.
"Just don't forget to apologize to Nishinoya before you leave." Sugawara reminds as he walks out.
"Oh my god!" One girl gasps, "Nishinoya is here! And you are already being advised by Sugawara-san to apologize to him! What did you do?"
"Well... that's complicated, but I can tell you that it's not entirely surprising that we fought." I reply
"Really!! Why? Have you fought before? Do you know Nishinoya!" She asks.
"Yeah, I've known him since I was five. We've been neighbors since. Also, this isn't the first time we've fought." I explain.
"Wow! You must be so lucky to know someone so talented!" Another girl says.
"Actually, we both have about the same level of talent... he actually started playing volleyball because of me." I claim, trying not to sound too cocky.
"Wow! Really? Are you also a libero?" The girl asks
"Yeah, I'm also a libero." I state.
"An amazing one at that too." The girl wearing the '1' compliments.
