A.N. Sorry this is pretty late... I know how much it sucks to have to wait forever for the next update on a story... but I've had a lot going on lately... At my second, and my last, track meet last Thursday April 6th at 2:45 PM, I was running hurdles. While running I tripped on the second to last hurdle, and managed to break my fibula... so yeah. But here's the good news!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for 100+ votes!!! I appreciate all of your love and support so much!!! So here's the special update I promised you!
+One minor thing... there's some weird change of the setup... it's now in past tense instead of present tense... sorry... I find it a lot easier to do past tense writing... and well... I'm lazy. Sorry.... (P.S. it's just generally shit tense)

"Can we see your skills then?" One of the girls asks.
"Um, sure!" I answer not sure if I can even say no.
"Okay, so who wants to be on which team?" The Captain says.
"We could do a third years vs. first years game. With the second years separated among the two teams." One girl offered.
"Sounds good to me. What do you think?" The captain replied. A series of yeahs, sures, and okays followed.
So that's what we did.
***Time Skip: brought to you by me being an idiot.***
The match ended very close, 25 to 27, with the older girls' win. Although my team lost, I still managed to shock all of the girls in the room. I was kind of disappointed in myself though. I wasn't playing to the best of my abilities...
***Time Skip: Brought to you by Sugawara being a wonderful supporting teammate.***
By the time the the match was over and we did a few drills, practice was nearly over. I began to think about what I'm going to do after practice. I wondered if Noya would be waiting for me or if he would have left already. I was kind of hoping it would be the latter so I wouldn't have to talk about what happened earlier, but sure enough, there he was. Standing in the rain?
"Noya? Why didn't you just go home? It's raining for God's sake! How long have you been standing out here?!?" I ask showing what was probably too much concern for someone who was supposed to be mad at him.
"It's been about 30 minutes..." he trails off.
"Didn't you have practice?" I ask
"Ya, but Sugawara-San made me leave early so I could talk to you, but I didn't want to interrupt your practice. So I waited out here..." Noya explained.
"Come on!" I nagged pulling him into the gym. "I'm calling my mom, I'll have her pick us up. I'm not letting you walk home in the rain."
"We've done it before." Noya states.
"Yeah, but that wasn't after you'd already stood in the rain for forever!" I declare.
"It was only 30 minutes, (Y/N). I'll be fine." Noya claims.
"Well I'm not taking anymore chances. Just listen to me!" I push while pulling out my phone. I open my contacts and click on my mom's name. Suddenly Noya starts walking back outside. "What the hell are you doing, Nishinoya!!!" I yell running after him.
"Walking home." He casually states.
"No! You are not walking home by yourself in this rain!" I exclaim.
"Then you'll walk with me." He bluntly states.
"I most certainly won't!" I declare.
"Suit yourself." I barely hear as he begins to disappear down the street. Damnit Noya, you really do know how to make me do some crazy shit! I begin running after him.
"I knew you'd join me." He says as I approach him as quietly as possible.
"Yeah sure, so why'd you wanna walk anyway?" I ask
"I wanted to talk." He says turning slightly away from me.
"And we couldn't do that in my mom's warm, dry car?" I argued.
"Nope, I'd like to talk about you and I." He begins, "I like you, (Y/N), okay? I don't mind if you won't return my feelings, but I wanted you to know. I'm just hoping that you won't hate me for this, or anything else for that matter..." Noya blushes.
"..." I stay silent. Suddenly, I turn toward Noya. He turns too. We stand there for awhile. The rain pouring on our heads and sliding down our faces. I firmly grab his shoulders slowly letting my hands slip down his back. And I kiss him. It wasn't too passionate or too deep, but it was meaningful.
"So I take it you return my feelings?" He says.
"Yes." I say realizing we're still standing in the rain. I grab ahold of his hand and turn to walk home.
Honk Honk! I hear. It's a car horn. My mom's to be exact.... she was on the street waiting for us. "Stop being all lovey dovey and get in the car!" My mom yells to us chuckling.
"Well that's awkward..." I state blushing lightly. I turn towards Noya and his blush is a lot deeper than mine.
We get in the car reluctantly. Both of us sit in the backseat too avoid my mom. "So kiddies, i see you've finally shared your feelings for each other."
"Wait what! How'd you know how we felt about each other, Mom?" I ask.
"It was pretty obvious. I'm pretty sure the two of you have liked each other since you first met." My mom casually replies.
"Wait what?" Noya says, "but how?"
"Well not all kids spend all of there time together like the two of you do. Also, I see how you look at each other." My mom replies.
"Well I guess I'll have to start looking at (Y/N) differently then..." Noya says beginning to luagh. We all start to luagh. I've missed being able to just relax and have fun.
The short trip home seemed even shorter because of the lively atmosphere. It was nice.
