It was a normal day for me. Every morning I go to "Mariah's Book Cafe." I love it here because it reminds me of her, my mother. My father and I would always go to this coffee shop to talk with my mother's bestfriend, Mariah.
She is beautiful and she reminds me of my dear mother. She is always cheery and bubbly and you can never tell if she has ever had a bad day. She knew how to make others feel welcomed. She is truly an amazing person.
"I miss you so much, mom." I whispered remembering her.
My mother died from cancer. She was someone so caring and loving, I didn't understand how could this happen to someone like her.
My father and I learned how to go through the tough times. Our family was always there for us and we're thankful for all their help. We will always remember mom in our hearts and in our spirit.
I was waiting for my sweet tea because today my sweet tooth is aching for something sweeter than on normal days. I was reading my morning book about positivity and life advice its based on a true life experience, called "Life Lessons."
The book motivates me to look upon life on a brighter side. Even though your life has a dark cloud hovering over you and you fret because you never know when it will rain.
Some days are rainy and on those days you wonder about life and where it will go. On sunny days you open your eyes to the bright sun and you think that things will get better, and you try not to loose hope, because on the good days you worry about what bad days may come.
I was interupted in reading my book when a man slumped heavily on the chair that was in front of me. He looked tired as if he never slept in his life. He folded his arms and layed his head down. I asked " Hello, are you..."
I didn't continue what I said because I knew he already fell asleep.I giggled because his face looked content when he's asleep, he looked handsome with dark brown hair. He had a sharp jawline, a slightly crooked nose, his eyes were closed but I wish to see the color of his eyes. I've never seen someone so distressed in their sleep.
I wonder who he is, hmm he does look familiar, maybe I've seen him around here. As I studied his face, I recognized him more. Oh! It's him, the man who always demands for his coffee! This man acts like he owns the coffee shop, and he lays around and falls asleep. I wonder whats keeping him up at night. He looks so tired.
I continued reading my book while I waited for my sweet tea. Roxanne a cheery and enthusiastic young woman arrived with two mugs and she placed them on the rectangled table.
They smelled wonderful and I can't wait to take a sip.

I arouse from my sleep when I heard loud voices speak near me. The waiter was warm and cheery when she spoke.
" Here's your coffee Sir and tea for our lovely Eviena, Enjoy your day! " she said with a bright smile and a wink at Evie, then she carried on with her work serving her customers with her cheery personality.
I glanced up, but my eyes were still drowsy. I groaned and stretched my stiff arms to make them more comfortable. I grabbed my coffee and took a big gulp down my throat. It didn't taste like coffee, it was disgustingly sweet.
I spit out whatever I just drank, and it tasted like plain sugar! My mouth and face scrunched in disgust at the awful sweetness of the tea, that wasn't meant for me. I heard a woman giggle and when I looked up I saw that she was trying hard not to laugh.
She looked beautiful, but when she noticed my stare she wasn't wearing that same smile that she had on before. And that dissapointed me. But I noticed a little blush in her beautiful caramel colored cheeks.
