This was finally happening. You and Ben, joining hands and declaring each other as your forever. 

He couldn't be more nervous, his hands were sweaty and he couldn't stop worrying about his hair, running his hand through it. He loves you more than anyone he's ever loved, and he could hardly wait to say how much he loved you.

You smiled at yourself in the mirror as you applied one last layer of lip gloss. You couldn't be more happy because this was one marriage that you wouldn't regret. You took a deep breath as one of the brides maids handed you a bouquet of purple flowers, letting you know that it was finally show time.

He saw you at the end of the walkway while the song was playing, describing exactly how he felt in this moment.

You looked stunning; your perfect (h/c) hair was up in a braided bun, flyways easily making their way into your face, but you didn't care. The blush on your face gave it a memorizing tint, a light shade of eye shadow complimenting it. 

You saw him by the priest, and tears easily made their way into your eyes, but you blinked them back. You couldn't mess up your makeup! He looked amazing in his suit, perfectly tailored and fitting him in all the right places. His hair was slick back except for a couple curls that made their way into his face.

The bridesmaid behind you lifted the back of your dress high above your ankles, so the flowers thrown by the Flower Girl tickled your heels and the skin that was exposed. Your best friend, (Y/F/N), stood next to the empty space where you would join hands with the man that gave you a life-changing ring and asked you that life changing question. She stood with tears in her eyes, making eyes with Ben and smiling back at me. 

In these coming years

Many things will change

But the way I feel

You finally made it towards him, rushing the next few steps just so you could be next to him, look into those grey eyes and whisper the words you knew you meant.

He looked back at Tom and Martin, who just smiled and nodded, trying to keep their cool but really all that they wanted to do was run up to both of you and give you a huge hug, but that would have to wait. "You look gorgeous." He whispered.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God, and in the face of this company, to join together this Man and this Woman in holy Matrimony..." The rest of the words were drowned out by the dreamy entrancement of the gaze you held. Ben got a good look at your face, and your face alone made him want to kiss you, hold you close, put his hands everywhere they could find.

"Benedict, Wilt thou have this Woman to thy wedded wife, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt thou love her, comfort her, honour, and keep her in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto her, so long as ye both shall live?" Ben took a deep breath, trying to utter the next words without hesitation.

"I will."

"(Y/N), Wilt thou have this Man to thy wedded husband, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony?"

"I will." You whispered, then turned towards the priest, smiling, and you couldn't stop smiling. You've always wanted to hear these words said to you, holding hands with someone you wouldn't regret saying these things to. 

"I Benedict, take thee (Y/N) to my wedded Wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I plight thee my troth." He said effortlessly, the words rolling off his tongue like silk. You smiled at him while he put his hand down, connecting it back with yours.

"I (Y/N) take thee Benedict to my wedded Husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I plight thee my troth."

You smiled and linked your arms together once more, and warmth rushed through you as you knew what words were coming next.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." 

Ben gave you one of his cute smiles that never failed to melt your heart before leaning in to one of the most passionate kisses you've ever felt. Fire rushed through you as you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer while cheers erupted from the crowd and flower petals flew all around. You smiled and giggled in the kiss, making you press your foreheads together as you could hear the cheers. You threw your bouquet up (not for the purpose of anyone catching it) and leaned back in for one more kiss, pulling him impossibly close.

This man made you his always today, and you made him your forever. You loved this man with all of your heart and after all these years he was finally yours. He was so happy he could explode, wrapping his arm protectively around your waist as the cheering began to die down. You didn't care, you couldn't be happier in this moment. 

"I love you." He whispered in your ear, just loud enough for you to hear it. You smiled and pressed yourself against him, whispering the exact same thing in his ear. 

And you meant all three words.
