Dear my beloved,

Well, I guess this is what I deserve. I've doubted. I've become clingy. I've been emotional. And you left. Because of me. Because of my doubt. Because I couldn't trust you.

Love,

Kiah

He gripped the paper that was in his hands and crumpled it up, tossing it in the nearest trash bin. He took a deep breath to calm his nerves. "This is not my fault. It's hers," he whispered shakily. "She was the one who doubted in the first place."

"Jisung. Jisung Park!"

Her black and purple ombre hair flew as she ran up to me, smiling brightly. I ignored all the stares that the people in the mall were giving to us. I suddenly kept remembering. All of her doubt couldn't be erased from my mind.

"Where are you going?" Her voice rang in my ears as I was about to discreetly leave the dorm. "Practice," I said flatly, not bothering to look at her.

"Did I do something wrong?" She suddenly held my arm gently. I huffed and pushed her away. "Stop being so clingy and annoying." I muttered under my breath. "Am I?"

I turned to see her with slight tears in her eyes. I softened, but that quickly disappeared and was replaced with a cold stare. "I'm leaving," I said and left without another word.

"Um... are you okay, Jisung?" She waved her hand in front of my face. "H-huh? Oh, yeah, just fine."

"Okay... would you like to go to that arcade over there?" She pointed to it. "Sure." She grabbed my arm and started tugging me along with her.

"Wah, this is amazing!" Her eyes widened in delight. I wasn't so sure. The lights seemed brighter, the people seemed louder, and the machines seemed to be bigger. I gulped and tried to calm myself.

"Who was that?" Her soft voice asked. "A friend." I responded shortly. "Okay. I trust you."

"You're spacing out again."

I looked over to her short figure. She was gazing at me with her beautiful chocolate brown eyes, and I could feel myself getting lost in them.

"Jiiiiisssssuuuunnnnggggg."

"I'm sorry."

"What?"

"I really am."

"Are you really going to waste your time on that brat? He's cheating on you!" Her mother screamed. "He'll change!" You yelled back. "He'll change, for me! Because he loves me! Not like your fifty failed marriages-"

A sound of a slap echoed throughout the room. "You disgraceful child. I give you everything for you to secure your future, like me. But your just wasting it by being with that scum."

"I don't want to have a future like yours. The future I want with Jisung is better than yours."

I gathered her up in a hug, running my hands through her silky hair.

"Jisung?" She gasped in surprise. "I'm so sorry. I'm really really sorry. I-" I was suddenly interrupted by a shrill squeal.

"Oh. My. God. Jisungggg!"

The warmth from Kiah was suddenly snatched away, and replaced with a strong, suffocating scent of perfume. "H-hey!" Kiah helplessly exclaimed.

"Who are you?" I pushed the figure away from me. "Did you forget me that easily, honey?" A sickly sweet voice answered.

I looked at the person, my eyes widening in realization. "Crap."

"I missseddd you sooooo such honey!" She squealed, giving me a bone-crushing hug. "Oof."

"Jisung? What's this?" I pushed her away again as soon as I heard her voice. "Kiah! This means nothing!"

I started to go towards her. "Stop right there, Jisung!" She gripped my arm, digging her well-manicured nails into my bare skin. I hissed slightly. "What do you mean, 'this means nothing?' Does she not know our relationship?"

She eyed Kiah up and down. "Oh, I get it now. You must be that bag of trash that my Jisungie tossed to the side." She pushed herself closer to me. "I'm Lina. His better girlfriend."

"J-Jisung?" Her tears threatened to spill down her cheeks. "Is this true? Have... have you been cheating on me?"

"Kiah-" I took a step towards her but was brought backwards by a sharp tug on my arm.

"All this time... I thought," she sniffed. "I thought you loved me. Guess I was just the stupid one. My mother was right. I should have never imagined a future with you." She wiped the tears from her eyes and ran away, leaving me alone.

Present Time

I staggered to the bathroom, blinking the blinding tears away. I turned on the sink and splashed some water on my tear-stained cheeks.

I looked at myself in the mirror - a sobbing, crying mess. "Why," I whispered to myself. "Why did I let you go?"
