I've realized that many of my one-shots are Jisung biased, lol. Don't worry though, this one's all fluff 💖

"I am in desperate need of a job."

She plonked her head down harshly onto the table, rattling the metal utensils that were placed there. Her friend Ryujin patted her head in sympathy while Yuna and Chaeryeong squeezed her hands. Yeji pulled her chopsticks away from her mouth and gave her a small smile. "No luck today?"

Wriggling in her seat, Ixia simply whined in response. Lia pulled her up and wrapped her arms around her distraught friend, allowing her to rest her head against her shoulder. "Tell us what's wrong, we'll help you in whatever way we can." She spoke sweetly and the rest of the table nodded their heads. Ixia sniffed and looked at her with sad, tear-filled eyes.
"I'm so stressed," she began. "We're seniors now, so everyone's scrambling to prepare for college and earn money. It's so hard to earn scholarships, so I need to find a job so that I can have enough to enroll in art school. But there are literally no more jobs! How can I learn art and move to New York to become a designer if I can't even step foot into a school?" She finally let out a few stray tears while everyone cooed and smothered her into a tight group hug. "We'll help you find a job," Yeji assured her as Ryujin quickly pulled out her phone, tapping on the search bar. "Is there anything you'd prefer?"

The girls spent the rest of lunch searching, finding jobs that Ixia either said 'maybe' or 'I guess' to. Even during her last block, her beloved art class, her mind was spinning with job descriptions and mental first job horror stories so much that black ink dripped from her brush right onto the canvas. "Dang it!"
She hurriedly wiped it even though she knew the stain would remain. Looking at the clock, she sighed and packed up, quickly deciding on doing a darker piece for her art portfolio.

"Seong Ixia!"

The said girl turned around and was met by a barreling force that nearly knocked her off her feet. "Ow! What the hell, Yuna?" The girl was smiling so brightly that she waved off the frown Ixia was directing at her. "I have some amazing news! So I heard from a friend who had a friend, who's mom had a cousin, who also had another cousin-" "Yuna, breathe." She laid her hand on her overly excited friend who looked like she was about to burst.

"I got you a job!"

Silence.

"I'm sorry, did you say-?"
