Thank you readers for taking the time to read the second book in the Cryptophobia series.

Writing the first book, which you can read here "https://www.wattpad.com/story/49190350-cryptophobia-outbreak" was tremendous fun. The "infected" concept has been done to death, but it's amazing how much fun it is to put your own spin on a pop cult topic. Playing music in the background as I wrote the first one helped a great deal with thinking about how I wanted to set each scene and the emotional engagement I wanted from my audience. I implemented social aspects for the fun and original aspect as well as character switching so that you'd be able to experience a situation through any one particular character's eyes and almost hear their thoughts conveyed through written language.

I've maintained the character switching elements in this book, as well as a little bit of the social aspects, but created a bit more backstory than the last book, so that you have time to establish what the family went through and how they got to this point. It also explains their behaviors and attitudes towards certain things they are presented with.

As I did with the last book, sub-characters will have significant roles to play in the story and I write based on random throws of a dice, who lives, who dies, who vanishes, even I don't know until I've rolled that dice, making the surprise just as thrilling for you as it is me, the writer.

I hope you enjoy it!

Enjoy!
