"So, what's for the Interview tonight?" I ask, and Effie grins.

"I thought you'd never ask." She reveals a white bag from behind her back. "It's a dress bag. It's got your dress in it."

"Ok..." I had never heard of a dress bag before. "But what's the point of it?"

She laughs. "Get dressed, you worthless thing." (A/N: Comment if you know where that's from :D)

I smile, take the dress...thing and go into the changing room.

Ten minutes later, I'm standing in a silver dress that goes down to my ankles, and I'm glad to find that she gave me flats instead of heels. (A/N: Because I can, her dress is a silver version of Elsa's dress from Frozen :P)

It's actually a lot better than I feared.

I step outside, and Effie smiles. "Ok, let's get you to those Interviews."

When we reach the building, I spot a very pissed-off Adam wearing a bright blue suit with sparkly buttons. Wow.

I walk over to him, laughing. "Nice outfit."

"I am going to kill Frias." He scowls. "Hey, save the killing for the arena." I say, and he gives me a pained look.

"Don't talk about that. I don't feel like killing anyone."

I look at the floor, my hair forming a curtain around my face.

Loud, jazzy, music starts playing, and my head shoots up, looking at the screen in front of me.

"Ladies and gentlemen, your Master of Ceremonies, Ceaser Fliiiiickerman!" The announcer says, holding out the "i" in Flickerman.

Ceaser bounces onto the stage, his hair and mouth dyed bright green, the new color for this year.

"Welcome everyone, welcome!" He yells into the microphone to be heard over the roaring crowds. "We've got a very special night for you tonight, tonight we will be meeting the tributes for the 60th Hunger Games!" The crowd screams louder, something I thought was impossible.

"First up, from District One, lets give a warm round of applause for Ashlee!"

Ashlee walks out onstage, smiling and giggling, and the Interviews have begun.

Mitch talks about crushing his enemies to dust, and a shudder goes down my spine. He's going to be hard to beat.

2....3...4...

Jason seems pretty calm, explaining what he is good with, and answering Ceaser's questions simply.

6...7...

Tiffany smiles through her whole Interview, but takes the crowd with her sob story of getting back home to her boyfriend. I even find myself starting to tear up at it.

Preston is jittery through the whole Interview, and I can't help but cringe. He's my friend now, and it's going to be hard to try to get him to the end with hardly any sponsors for him.

All too soon, 9 is over.

"From District Ten, lets bring out Skylar!"

Adam gives me a thumbs-up, and I nervously step out onto the stage, the bright lights almost blinding me.

I walk carefully over to the chair, and sit across from Ceaser. I hope no one can hear my heartbeat, because it sounds like a cannon to me.

"So, Skylar, how are you finding the Capitol?"

I bring all my courage together, and calm my nerves slightly.

"It's, well, different. Really different." I answer, smiling.

"Different? In what way?"

'Hmm, lets see. District Ten doesn't kill children for entertainment?' I think, but I don't say that.

"Well, there's a lot more pink then I'm used to." I say, and the crowd laughs.

"Yes, there always does seen to be more color in the Capitol." Ceaser smiles. "Now then, we heard you have an alliance with the tributes from Eight. You want to tell us about it?"

"Tiffany and Preston? Yeah, I'm allied with them. I was a bit skeptical of alliances at first, but they were more...pleasant then the other tributes."

"And what about your District partner, Adam? Word on the street is that you have been training together." Ceaser says, and I nod.

"Yeah, Adam and I have been training together. He's like an older brother to me, really." I put that last part in because knowing the Capitol, I'll be "Adam's girlfriend" or something. Can you say, "awkward"?

"Oh, that's great! Hey, Claudius, you owe me ten dollars! They aren't dating!" He shouts out into the crowd, and my face goes red while the audience laughs.

"I have to say, Skylar, when you came out in that chariot, I think everyone in Panem's heart stopped. Am I right?"

The crowd yells in agreement, and I smile. "To tell you the truth, I think my heart went ten times faster, I was so nervous." I say, and the audience laughs.

Suddenly, a buzzer sounds. "And that sound means that we are out of time for Skylar, it was wonderful meeting you. Ladies and gentlemen, one more time, Skylar Pather from District Ten!" Ceaser concludes, and I step off stage, away from roaring crowds.

Adam grins. "Good job. Can you believe they thought-"

"No, I couldn't. Can you spell, 'awkward'?" I cut him off, laughing.

"No, I can't. I don't have a brain, remember?" He laughs.

Just then, Ceaser calls his name. "Good luck." I smile, and he walks out onto the stage.

I watch his Interview on the screen. He pulls off funny easily, making jokes with Ceaser about the perils of the stylists. "-I think I'm still sore."

He keeps it up until Ceaser asks about his family. I stare at the screen, wondering if he'll tell.

"Well, Ceaser, I have a mom and dad back at home, and I miss them like crazy. Hi, mom!" He waves at the screen. "I would say 'hi, dad' but idiots on camera usually say 'hi, mom.'" He says, succeeding in making everyone laugh.

"Any siblings?" Ceaser asks, and Adam tenses.

"Well, I actually have a brother, but he moved to District Five a long time ago. Legally, people, don't worry." He says, and the audience laughs.

"Well, I'll tell you what. You go win this thing, and you'll have enough money to go see him." Ceaser grins, and Adam looks at the floor.

"Well, Ceaser, there's a problem with that."

"What's the problem?" Ceaser asks. 'I know!' I almost shout.

Adam looks back at the crowd. "My brother's fighting in this too."
