Oh my God. I can't believe people are really reading my story. I would really like to thank anyone who even considered reading this. It literally puts a smile on my face that one person read it. It probably doesn't seem like much to you but it means a lot to me so I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. Now I'm going to go on with the story before I tear up a little.
My parents came and checked me out of the hospital later that day. The car ride home was quiet. Mostly because my head was still pounding from the hockey puck incident and I told everyone to be quiet before we started driving.
When we got home my mom put me straight to bed and she said she wouldn't let me do anything for the whole day because I needed to “recover”.
So, I am basically stuck in my room for a whole day. I'm literally going insane from boredom.
So far, since I've come home from the hospital I have watched 3 movies, (2 being Nicholas sparks), eaten a carton of my favorite Ben and Jerry s, played checkers with blizzard, tweeted 37 times about random things to my 23 followers, and whined... a lot.
So here I was sitting in my bedroom all alone. Sulking because my head hurts and hating myself because I couldn't accept a stupid date with a stupid attractive guy who was stupid enough to give me a concussion.
If I was just able to stay home that night I wouldn't be in this stupid mess.
Just then my sister walked in my room with popcorn and another movie. At least I won't be alone now.
"You know you look like you just broke up with a guy." Alyssa said.
"Yeah but my head hurts not my heart" massaging my head for emphasis.
"So, sissy Austin said a boy came and visited you in the hospital. Care to share?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows waiting for me to give those details.
I blushed instantly
Oh God.
What was I going to say?
I normally tell Alyssa everything but, I don't even know where to begin explaining this.
I met the guy who hit me in the head with a hockey puck, he was very attractive, I flirted for the first time in my life, but I refused to go on a date with him.
That sounds crazy in my head and it will probably sound 10 times crazier if I said it out loud.
Alyssa doesn't have this problem with boys.
She's super model pretty and she has the most charming and sweetest personality out of everyone I've ever met.
Well actually Liam might take that title now.
No, I can't think about him.
I need to forget that happened and move on.
"Oh it was just some guy from the Falcons who came to say sorry on behalf of the team."
I lied
I hate lying but how do I even explain what happened??
"Boo, I was hoping it was going to be a secret boyfriend that you were hiding" she said pouting
I wish.
"Lys I could barely get a guy to let me borrow his math notes one time and you think I could get a boyfriend without anyone knowing?"
"El don't put yourself down. I would literally kill to look like you! You are literally the most beautiful person I know. Inside and out."
Awe that's actually the nicest thing she's said to me in a while.
I didn't know what to say so; I just hugged my baby sister and was thankful that I have her to always make me feel better.
"Ok let's watch this movie before we get all emotional"
I pretended to wipe fake tears away
"Ok if you say so" I replied
I'm lucky to have such a great little sister.
A few minutes later my phone went off with a Twitter update. I had one new follower. Liam Conroy.
This boy better not be expecting a follow back.
Now I have to decide what I'm going to do about a cute hockey player who may or may not be stalking me.
Lucky Alyssa didn't see.
I would never live this down if she found out the truth.
