"Viktor...why are you getting mad over such a silly thing? Come on...where are you going?"
"Silly? How is this silly, Yuri? I don't know, but I don't want to be around you right now."
"Viktor, you shouldn't go out late at night like this!" Yuri grabbed the other male's arm and tried to pull him back. He got shoved away though and Yuri's eyes widened. "Viktor..."
"I'm going out for awhile..."
Yuri followed Viktor out of their apartment and down the hall. "Viktor, stop...this is ridiculous!"

Once they were out on the street, Yuri still didn't let up. "Yuri, the whole point of leaving the apartment was so I could get away from you!"
Yuri flinched at the other's words and he bit the side of his lip.
Looking ahead, Yuri noticed the other male continuing to walk as the light changed and he ran after him. "Viktor!"
The truck came down the street far too fast and It all happened before Yuri even had the chance to blink.
"Viktor!"
The male woke with a start and he sat straight up in bed, staring into the darkened space that was in front of the bed.
Gasping for air, he reached over with a shaky hand and felt nothing but an empty spot beside him on the bed.
His features crumbled and he sniffled, tears starting to slip down his cheeks.
A whimper could be heard at the other side of the room and soon enough, Yuri felt something climb up beside him on the bed.
"He doesn't remember me...why doesn't he remember me, Maccachin?"
Leaning against the dog, Yuri sobbed into his fur and held onto him tightly. The dog licked the male's face and whimpered softly, nuzzling the other with his nose. Smiling, Yuri sniffled and wiped at his tears with his hands. "Thanks, boy..."
Maccachin barked quietly in response and laid down on the bed, deciding to keep the younger male company. Running his fingers through the dogs soft fur, Yuri could feel himself getting drowsy again and he knew he had to go back to bed. Tomorrow was a brand new day, maybe Viktor would remember him.

"Would you stop that? I think you've poked and prodded me enough with those needles of yours." Viktor narrowed his eyes at the nurse and yawned tiredly.
The nurse stayed silent and only spoke when she seen the male yawn. "Did you not sleep well last night?" "No I-...It's strange actually...I felt very restless the entire night for some reason." Reaching up, the older male sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
Glancing down at the ring that sat on his finger, he wondered if that person would come back again. "What was his name again?" He felt like he should remember, since he had only just heard it yesterday, but he couldn't and it bothered him. They were supposed to be married after all and Viktor had absolutely no memory of him whatsoever.
"Yuri, dear. You'll remember it soon enough. Once you start to remember his name, maybe you'll even start remembering other things as well. That will be good, right?" She smiled at him and then injected him with another needle.
