"Why did you suddenly move to Russia with me? We could have stayed back in Kyushu. You belong with your family Yuri and you know that I wouldn't mind staying there."
"You needed to be back in your hometown in order to make a proper come back, Viktor!"
"No, I didn't. I didn't even care about any of that. As long as I can remain by your side, I don't care where we live."
"That's not good enough, Viktor! Your fans would have wanted to see you back here when you started skating again. They wouldn't want to see you in Japan!"
"I don't care about what they want anymore! If they're only going to admire me because of where I'm from, then they don't deserve to be called a fan of mine. I make my own decisions Yuri, not them."
Viktor felt anger start to build up from the bottom of his stomach and he sighed. He didn't want to fight like this with the other male. It would be best if he went out for a bit and came back. That way, they could both calm down. Grabbing his coat, he slipped it on and then put his shoes on as well.
"Where are you going at this hour?"
"I'm going to get some fresh air." Opening the apartment door, Viktor stepped outside and started down the hallway.
"Viktor, wait!"
Hurrying his pace, Viktor started to half jog down the hallway and then started to descend from the stairs. Once he was outside, he still heard Yuri following him and he turned around, looking at the other male. "The whole point of leaving the apartment was to get away from you, Yuri."
Seeing the other's reaction to his words, Viktor mentally slapped himself. Why would he say such a thing to him? He wanted to reach out and hold him close, but he resisted the urge and forced himself to turn around.
Continuing to walk, he didn't see the light turn red and the last thing he heard, was Yuri calling his name.

"Yuri..." Viktor groaned in his sleep and he started to toss a bit on the bed. Starting to turn onto his side, he cried out in pain and his eyes shot open instantly.
Wincing, he reached over and hesitated on pressing the button for the nurse to come.
He could withstand the pain for awhile. He wanted to take this time to think about his dream. It had occured more then once and it had been a constant thing for at least three nights.
It made him think that it wasn't a dream at all and the fact that Yuri hadn't been around for the past few days, it made him wonder.
He was starting to feel uneasy about the entire thing and he wanted to see the other male. More then anything, he felt this urgency that was building in his chest. He wasn't sure how to explain the feeling, but he wanted to see Yuri. That's all he knew.

"Where were you the past few days?" As soon as Yuri entered Viktor's room, the question was thrown at him.
"I had things to attend to." It was a lie, but he couldn't tell him the real reason.
"Why are you lying to me? What other things would you have to attend to? Maccachin is fine at the house. He's used to me always being away for skating. Also, one of the nurses told me that you were taking off skating, so that you could be here with me. So, where have you been all this time? It's been three days since I last saw you Yuri and I want answers."
"You remembered something, didn't you? When I said what I did the other day..."
Viktor looked down into his lap and fell silent. He did actually remember something. It was his dream.
"I...remember our fight...When I try to remember anything after that, my head starts to hurt. I'm guessing that's how the accident happened?" Viktor raised his gaze and looked at Yuri.
Stepping closer to the bed, Yuri took his coat off and set it down on the chair that was still at Viktor's bedside.
"Yeah..." He nodded and sat on the edge of the other male's bed. "What about anything before that?"
Viktor sighed and then shook his head. "I can't remember anything else..."
Yuri frowned, but he quickly hid his disappointment.
Reaching out, he gently caressed the older male's bruised cheek. His features crumbled after a minute though, and tears glistened in his eyes. "I'm so sorry, Viktor. This is all my fault."
"No. It's my fault for starting the fight to begin with." "I shouldn't have argued with you, though." Yuri sniffled and felt the tears start to spill down his cheeks.
"Yuri, you're not perfect. I shouldn't have said I left to get away from you either, but it just slipped out. What matters is that we never stay mad at each other and we always make up. I...might not remember everything right now, but I know from all of these feelings that I love you. I love you so much and that's never going to change. You weren't arguing for the sake of it, you were trying to talk sense into me, but I just couldn't see it at the time."
Reaching up with his good arm, Viktor wiped away his lover's tears. "Please, don't cry..." He pulled Yuri's face down to his own and kissed his forehead. "We'll get through this, I promise."
