Chapter 8: World Championships

The next day, we went to the place where the World Championships were taking place. Everyone was so amazed at the set up that we all separated and went our separate ways.

Pentatonix approached me again and said, "Can't wait for your opener."

"Go away so I can prepare then."
They all walked away and I prepared to open for the Acapella World Championships. After that, I joined the Bellas as we got ready to perform our songs. When it was time to perform, everyone performed perfectly. We got a lot of applause and when the awards came, we beat DSM and took the championships. We all celebrated and I got a call from my sister, Signe.
"Hey, sis."
"Jessica, where are you?"
"At World Championships in Denmark."
"You were supposed to be on campus today, remember. Sean and I were visiting."
"Sorry, I had to do this, this is the last time I'll be performing live so I can work on my videos."
"How did you do?"
"We won."
"Congratulations, now get back to America. We have business to talk about."
"All right."
I hung up and turned to the girls. They all looked at me with questioning looks.
"My sister just called and I need to get back to America. I forgot that they were coming over."
"Well, we're going to spend a few days here. See you when we get back."
"Bye, ladies."
"Don't forget to talk to Pieter."
I shot them a glare and said, "If you guys don't lay off, something might happen. Nothing is going to happen between the two of us."
"Keep maintaining your fiction."
I flipped them the bird and walked off.
