A New Pitch (Pieter Kramer)

Chapter 3: Confrontation

Pieter and I sat in Starbucks, enjoying a nice Mocha or whatever he had. We made small talk, but it was very awkward. Then Beca walked in and saw me with him.

"Jessica? What are you doing here with him?"

"Just having coffee."

"You're fraternizing with the enemy."

"You know, I do have a life outside of the Bellas, so give it a rest."

I got up and stormed out of the Starbucks, headed for the only place that I could be myself, the woods. I stayed in one place for about an hour before I decided to run. After about an hour of running, I had an idea for a video. 

I started my way back to Starbucks to get my car. Once I arrived, Pieter was there, waiting.

"Are you okay, love?"

"I'm fine, just needed to clear my head."

"I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me again."
"I would love to."

I walked back to my car and drove off to get to the gym. I got a call from Felix.

"Hey, how's it going?"

"Going good, how have you been?"

"Good. Busy, but good. With all the videos from Scare Pewdiepie, and everything that has been going on, I just want a break."

"Man, I know how you feel. I am not allowed to continue with my YouTube until I graduate."

"Man, that is too bad, do you want me to release some videos for you?"

"Nope. But can you explain why I am no longer doing YouTube at the moment." 

"Anything for a friend."

"You're awesome, Felix. Say hi to Marzia for me."

"Will do. Bye, Jess."

I hung up and saw Beca and Chloe walk over to me. Here comes the scolding.

Beca said, "You cannot continue to hang around Pieter."

"Beca, I have a life, you guys have to realize life isn't all about the Bellas. You have a boyfriend, he is still a Treblemaker. You were dating him last year so don't go giving me a lecture."

I stormed off and sat in my room.
