Is this real?Or just a dream? Chapter 6

A few days have passed.

I was doing my chores one day and I walked to one side if the prison and saw Carl and Jamie. I stood there listening.

"So Carl" Jamie said and then I couldn't make out anything else.

I walked out an saw them kissing.

I dropped the comics Michonne gave me to hand him. I started crying and ran off.

I web to my cell. I saw a flower he had giving me and I broke in in half. I forgot about the thorns and they went threw my skin. I looked at my hand and it had 5 little thorn places.

I wiped the blood off and layer down crying my eyes out.

"Maybe, we weren't right for each other. Maybe , he never loved me. "

Carls pov

"Jamie what are you doing" I said screaming.

"We should be together" she said.

"I don't like you at all. I love carter. Just stay away from me." I said and ran off.

Carter's pov

I sat there crying. And then I heard footsteps. I just rolled over in my bed and wiped my tears. Daryl walked in.

"What's wrong " he said as he laid his crossbow down.

"C-Carl kis-kissed Jamie!" I sai trying bit to sound rude.

"I'm sorry " he looked at my hand " what happened with your hand"

"Oh I tryes to break a flower he game me an it had thrones. I forgot they were there and I squeezed it" I said looking at him.

Daryl reminded me if my own dad in so many ways. He was caring an strong and always knew what to do.

I cried and hugged him."thank you for helping me out" I said wiping away my tears.

"It's okay everything will be alright" he said. "Wanna go on a run with me"

"Yeah it'll get my mind off things" I said smiling.

We walked out of the prison and I got on the back if his bike. Carl walked over there but I turned away. "Just go away. I don't wanna speak to you!!" U screamed.

"Carter I. I didn't kiss her she kissed me." He said frowning.

"You don't tell her to go away" Daryl came back and we went.

We came to a big store. Dary'l tapped the window and we waited for walkers to come up. We went in and killed them.

As we went in there I walked around after I got what I needed. I went walking in one aisle an heard crying. I looked around and I heard it from a biotin shelf. I looked down and moved a few blankets. I say a little girl about 4.

"Come here little girl. In not going to hurt you ill help you. " she came out and she had a little doll.

I said "look your gonna come back with me and I'll get you cleaned up" I picked her up and walked over to Daryl.

"Daryl this little girl was under a shelf we have to take her back"I said.

He looked at her and smirked "okay" and a walker fell from the ceiling.

We dashed for the door and everyone else did to. We all got out but jimmy. He was dead.

We rode back to the prison and got out of the car.

I walked up to carol. "Will you get her cleaned up I need to talk to Carl" I tryes handing her over but she wouldn't let go.

I laughed "I'll do it" and I walked over to Carl.

"Hey c-Carl umm can I talked to you" he looked around "yeah and who is this " he smiled.

"She was trapped and well talk while I get her cleaned up.

We walked to the showers and I grabbed a little tub for her. I filled it up.

"Turn around while she washes" I said smiling.

"I'm sorry about today that's all I saw and I cried" I showed him my hand."I broke that flower and the thrones went in me. " I laughed "im so stupid sometimes. " I said.

He hugged me and then I go her out "what's your name " I asked the little girl?"

She waited then said "a-alx" she said.

"We'll that's a pretty name" I say. "What happened to your parents?" I asked knowing what happened.

She said "my momma put me in that spot and gave me crackers and some d-drinks and I never saw her so I stayed there" she said.

I frowned an said "we'll you look Hungary let's get you something to eat!"

I got her something to eat and Laid her down in my cell. "Do you wanna sleep with me or in the top bunk" I said.

"Down here that's high" she said pointing up. " I laughed and smiled "okay"

Carl came in and I had to tell him to sleep up top.

He looked at the little girl then me "okay" and he kissed my forehead. "Goodnight." Then I said it back.

That night I had a dream that me,Carl and Alx would all live together and make a beautiful family. Alx would grow up and have many friends and wear the best dresses. I then woke up. I looked around and laid down again. I saw the little girl and smiled "I'll keep you safe " and I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
