Is this real?Or just a dream? Chapter 5

We were all outside when we heard a gunshot. I had no idea where it came from. I saw on of the Woodbury people go down. "Kids go get in one cell block. Ill send somebody up there with you" I yelled not wanting one of them to get hurt. I turned and saw lizzie on the ground. "LIZZIE" I yelled crying. I ran up to her and picked her up carting her to my cell and laid her on the bed. Mika go to the showers and get the first aid. "Lizzie look at me. Everything will be fine" I said looking her in the eyes.

"It hurts carter." She said grabbing her leg.

"I know it will until I fix it up." I said .

Mika came back with the first aid. The shot wound was on her thigh. I got the tweezers and got the fragments out.

"Ahhh, carter that hurts please stop."Lizzie yelled.

"I can't babe" I said looking at her "I'm almost finished.

I got the last fragment out and bandages it up.

"Look Lizzie. Your fine. We just have to keep it clean." I said smiling at her.

She raised up and hugged me. "Thank you carter but how will I walk it hurts really bad." She said pulling away.

"You'll have to stay off your feet for a few weeks" I looked at her and she looked at it.

"Okay but thank you so much" she got up and I put my arm over her and we walked to her cell and laid her down.

"Y'all stay here I'm going to check if its safe!" I said with a serious look on my face.

I walked outside and took caution. I saw Carl and ran up to him. "Are they gone?" I said.

"Yeah it was the govner. Now we have to watch for teeth an bullets" he said looking down at me.

"Lizzie was shot, she's okay now I got her fixed up." I looked as though I was sad.

"I'm glad you could help her out." He smiled.

"Are the kids okay? " Rick yelled.

"Yeah" I said. "But Lizzie was shot she's good now though." I said looking at him.

We ate what Daryl had brought in witch was squarl. After that I went an laid down and Carl beside me. "Carl, are we gonna die?" I said "what happened today what if I couldn't of helped helped Lizzie she would have list to much blood," I said turning over .

"Yeah we're gonna live. We have a strong group an you helped her and saved her today." He said scooting closer.

"Okay" and I turned over but before I did he kissed me on the lips. We stayed for a long time. In my mind it was great and I loved him. I didn't want to pull away but I had to. "Goodnight" we both said and I turned over pulling the cover up.

The next morning I got up and went to the showers. I heard the door open so I turned off the water and put a towel on me.

"I'm in here do you mind," I saw rudely.

I heard a fumilar voice say " not at all" I turned around to see PJ ,another Woodbury person, "Get out " I screamed. He said not and grabbed my arm. I punched him in the arm and ran to the door. He grabbed me and pulled me back. "CARL, SOMEBODY HELP ME" I kept getting louder. He tried to pull the towel off but I held on as tight as possible. Finally , I heard someone come in. It was Daryl. "Carter go" I ran to my cell and saw Carl.

I sat on the bed in my towel and started to cry.

"What's wrong" he asked looking at my face since I was in a towel. I turned and said " PJ came in the showers while I was in and tried to pull my towel off." I cried into his shoulder forgetting about me in a towel. "I'm so sorry I'm in a towel that close to you" I say standing up. "I'll let you get dressed" and he walked out.

I got dressed and went find him. I found Daryl and said " I'm sorry you had to see me like that he just walked in there!" I said looking down. "The good thing is your okay an we won't be seeing much more if him." I looked up " why not ". Daryl told me that Carl found him and knocked him out. He punched him so hard that it cracked the skull because he used his gun.

"He really did that for me" I said with a smile on my face.

"Yeah he is outside I. The tower with Glenn now."thanks I said and walked off .

I walked out to the gaurs tower. he saw me and ran up to me . " I'm okay and I heard what you did. thank you " I said hugging him tighter. "Your welcome."he said smiling.

The rest off the day we all did chores. I checked on Lizzie a few times and her leg felt better. That night me and Carl went to bed. He kissed me and I felt sparks again and smiled. We then fell asleep tired from what went on that day.
