My eyes fluttered open to the sound of Damien's phone ringing.
"Hello?" He said in his deep morning voice
I groaned as I tried to turn and face him but he had a tight grip around my waist preventing me from moving.
"this again?" He asked
I kept struggling until he finally realized and loosened his grip around me, allowing me to be able to face him.
"fine I'll be there" He said before hanging up the phone
"happy birthday" I said with a smile
"thank you" He said kissing me on the forehead
"what was that about?"
"oh it was just Emerson, every year he decides to throw me a surprise birthday party even though it's not really a surprise. The first year it was, but then after that he uses the same excuse every year. He apparently needs help cleaning out his bathroom closet, funny thing is he has no bathroom closet"
"you need new friends babe" I joked
"trust me I know, I don't even want to go" He said rolling his eyes
"so then why go?"
"because I know he's been planning it for a while and I don't want his money to have gone to waste. No matter how many times I tell him I don't want a party he still throws one anyways. I just wanna lay down here with my baby, and maybe get in them guts" He chuckled
"hell nah, I think my ass has had enough after the third time, then fourth, and fifth, shall I go on?" I said rubbing my ass
When I tell you Damien can last all night I'm not even playing with you, his stamina is on steroids. We ended up falling asleep around five in the morning, that's why we're waking up so late. I doubt I'll be able to walk for a while.
"fine but I still want to just lay here with you" He said pulling me closer so my head was relaxed on his chest
"what time is the party?" I asked
"he wants us to be there around eight" He answered
"us?"
"you didn't think I was gonna go without you right?"
"well it's gonna be a bunch of your friends, plus do I have to remind you that I'm not anywhere near you guy's age. That'll be so awkward" I said looking up at him
"gee thanks for making me feel so old" He said pretending to be hurt
"you know what I mean, I just don't want to be sitting there quiet while you guys talk about grown up stuff"
