7.| Redemption and Witnessing Pt. 1

Janelle's POV

Edward grabbed me from the waist and brought me a bit closer to him."Oh! I almost forgot Edward! Happy 14th birthday babe!!!" I said

"Thanks Janny" he said.

"I have a present for you." I tell him.

"Really? What i-" I cut him off by giving him a long sweet French kiss.

I felt butterflies while kissing him. Then I pulled away because we both needed to breathe, I looked at how disheveled he was and smirked while i gave him one last peck, I winked at him and walked away, swaying my hips lightly to tease him a bit. You need to leave the guys wanting more right? Anyways the kiss wasn't his only present. I have a surprise for Edward that I hope he'll love.

Back at home I was getting ready to head to Edward's house to bring him for his birthday dinner. But I need to talk to my big bro Liam to cover for me tonight and the rest of the weekend just in case my parents get suspicious and I need to make an excuse to tell my parents for the reason why I'm not going to be here till Sunday.

So here it goes I'm going to ask my parents. They're in the kitchen making dinner for Edward because we know Anne, his mother won't do anything for poor Edward. I want him to feel special.

" Mum, Daddy" I said with a sweet voice.

"Yes love, we're almost finished with Edward's special dinner" my mum says.

"No wonder it smells so good" I say

"Of course it smells good, your mum is an amazing cook" my dad says giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Amazing! Thank you for cooking this dinner for Edward, mum" I smile

"I helped too, Janny" my dad said crossing his arms playfully.

"Oh sorry daddy. Thank you too" i say and he smiles.

"Yeah he only helped me with chopping the vegetables" my mum mumbles so he doesn't hear and I just giggle.

"Mum, Dad. Would you give me permission to go sleepover to my friend Suzy's house this weekend? I'll be back by Sunday noon please." I tell them.

"Oh of course honey, Suzy is a nice girl. Just be back before school on Monday!" they said in unison

"Ok thanks, Love you!"

"Love you too!" my mom said

"No boys now.." my father started and my mom just slapped his arm and said

"They're only in the 8th grade!" I laugh.

If my parents only knew I'm going out with Edward. Oh, god of my dad would flip. He'll be overprotective. I think my mum would be okay with it because she knows Edward wouldn't do anything wrong like hurt me or make a move without me wanting to. And besides we haven't shared those three words that mean so much. But I know that what we have is special. Even though some think we are too young.

"Janny. Earth to Janelle" my dad waved his hand in front my face. I probably zoned out.

"Oops, sorry I was just thinking what movies me and Suzy should watch for the sleepover" I lie.

"Oh okay, love. But did you hear what I said" my dad said and I shook my head.

"Well your father said that you should already head over to go get Edward" my mum said.

"Okay, but do I look okay" I was wearing light blue dress that went down knee length with a small navy blue jacket and white lace toms and my hair in a braid.
