Normal setup
Hoodie, Helen, Masky, and Toby took an unconscious Ashley and scared to death Andrea to the local hospital. They were getting weird looks from everyone who saw them. When they made it in the hospital, some doctors immediately rushed over to them. Hoodie refused to give up Ashley at first. "Come on, Brian." Helen says. He sighs and hesitantly lets the doctors take Ashley out of his arms. The take her away to the ER. The nurse at the desk comes up to them. "Is there any information on her? Blood type? Name? Age? Cause of injury?" Andrea flinches at the questions. "A positive, Ashley, sixteen, assault." Hoodie says, surprising Andrea who didn't even know her blood type. "If we can get her stable, you're allowed one visitor." They all look at each other. "I think And-" "I'm going." Hoodie cuts off Helen. "Okay, fair." They sit down in the waiting room and continue to get weird looks. "What's *tic* going on*tic*?" Andrea's eyes widen. "The book was true. When she dies we'll be discovered." "That's bad." Helen says. "If she dies now, we'll be discovered here. It's not safe." "What *tic* do we *tic* do?" "Most of us should go home. It'd be best." Andrea says. "But who?" Helen asks. "I'll stay." Hoodie says. "Okay, so I'll take Toby home." "No, she's not staying here." Hoodie says, slightly raising his voice. "She her best friend and she's not one of us entirely." Helen argues. "She's the one that put her in here. She's not staying. Plus I look the most normal out of all of you. And I can take my mask off and no one will know." "Fine." Andrea says, standing up. Helen gives in and stands up as well. They exit, leaving Hoodie alone.
Ashley's POV
I open my eyes to see that I'm in a bright room. I feel a sharp pain in my ribcage, and leg. I notice something in the corner of my eye on my face. I feel my face to find there's a bandage on it. I also notice IVs stuck in my arms. One in my right wrist and the other on the inside of my left elbow. "Am I dead?" I, on instinct, ask. "Luckily, no." I look over to see Hoodie. "Hoodie." I whisper. He puts his hand over mine. "You're all right, Ashey." I smile at him calling me that. "Gonna yell at me for calling you Ashey?" he asks. "Not this time, Cakey." He chuckles. "What happened?" "You don't remember?" "I remember Andrea..." I pause. Hoodie sighs. "I almost killed her. And Masky. I was furious. But then you called my name from the top of the stairs. The second I knew you were still alive, I felt-" he stops and sighs again. "But now you're gonna be alright." I see he has blood all over his hoodie. "What's that?" I ask, pointing to it. "I carried you here." "You ruined your hoodie. Your name is even Hoodie, why would you do that?" "I'd ruin my hoodie anyday for you." he says, gently squeezing my hand. I weakly smile. "You should get some sleep now, you lost a lot of blood." "But I'm cold." I say. He smiles in an almost sad way. Then he gets up and lays next to me on the hospital bed. "You should take your mask off." I mutter. He laughs and immediately does as I suggest. His pushes his bangs to the side and looks at me. "Better?" "Yeah." I say, closing my eyes. I feel him put his arm over me and I fall asleep.
