Andrea introduced the rest of them to Ashley. When that was over, it was almost 10. "It's getting late, we should probably get home." Andrea said. "Yeah, you don't want to get murdered by some crazy, knife wielding maniac or run into one of those creepypastas, do you?" Jeff joked. Ashley looked out the window to see nothing, but the pitch black night. She gulped. "Are you afraid of the dark?" Jane asked. "She is very afraid of the dark." Andrea said. They all started laughing, except Hoodie and Andrea. "In a house with murders and she's afraid to leave because it's dark outside." Jeff said. Andrea did the cut it out sign to them as they were all still laughing. They obeyed her and tried to make Ashley feel better because she was frowning now. "Maybe you should stay the night." Helen suggested. "We don't have an extra bed at the moment." Slenderman stated. "So she'll share a room with someone. Who wants a roommate?" Helen asks. Hoodie starts to raise his hand and speak but gets cut off. "She can *tic* share my *tic* room." Toby says while putting his arm around Ashley's shoulders. Hoodie glares at Toby. "That works." Andrea says, walking upstairs to Helen's room. Everyone goes, either to bed or out to find victims. Ashley uncomfortably fake smiles as Toby pushes her forward. As Ashley walks into Toby's room, she sees Hoodie staring at her from his door, across the hall.
Andrea's POV
I was sitting on the bed watching Helen paint. "I'm worried." I suddenly say "Why?" Helen asked me, not pausing his work. "Ashley. She's new to this whole. Her friend is friends with murderers things, she's abused by her parents as well, so that's gonna make this even worse then it is." I sighed. "But the only reason we came here was because she was being stubborn, and wanted to meet you." Helen got up, and sat next to me. "You should know not to worry about her right, you told everyone not to hurt her, and they know bloodlust would be cutting off their head if they did." I smiled at that. "You're right, she's not my little sister. I just hope nothing happens. I can already tell Hoodie's pissed at Toby. And knowing our waffle loving idiot, he'll, well i don't know what he'd do." I sighed putting my head in my hands. "Why's he pissed at Toby? I mean the only one with a close to legit reason would be Masky." Helen asked me looking surprised that Hoodie was even capable of being pissed off. "Because Ashley is sharing a room with Toby." "And may i ask how you know this?" "I can tell, i guessed it too. Hoodie looked kinda happy when I left him alone with her a few hours ago." he nodded. "Well let's put a hold on talk. I can tell you're tired." I nodded. Helen kissed me before i got into bed. "Night my painter." "Night love."
Ashley's POV
I look at Hoodie as Toby closes the door. Why does he keep staring at me? Toby jumps on the bed and tries to capture my attention. "Wanna watch a *tic* movie?" "Sure, Waffles." I sit on his bed. He smiles and turns on his tv. The channel that the tv is on is playing a movie that just started so we keep that on. Toby turns toward his dresser. He opens the top drawer and pulls out a bunch of waffles. He hands me a few and lays next to me with his head at the bottom of the bed. I do the same. When the movie gets to a boring part I decide to ask him "Do you like me or something?" He smiles. "Yeah *tic*, a lot. You *tic* seem really cool." My eyes widen. He looks at me with a confused look. "Oh! *tic* I get it. *tic* Sorry, i meant as a *tic* friend. I thought that's *tic* what you meant." I sigh, relieved. "That's a relief." I say. "Well I'm *tic* asexual anyway." he says, laughing. "That's that thing where you don't feel attracted to anyone, right?" i ask. He nods, then points to the tv and hands me another waffle.
After Toby goes to sleep i have to go to the bathroom. I sneak out of his room, turn on the hall light, and make my way to the bathroom. When i go back out into the hall, it's dark. Someone turned the light off. I get scared and start shaking. I can't see anything. Then i hear someone quietly calling my name. "Ashley. Ashley. Ashley." I freeze. Then i feel someone grab my arm and I scream. A door opens and the light turns on. I see Laughing Jack in front of me and Hoodie at the lightswitch. Hoodie gives Laughing Jack an evil glare and he goes back to his room. Hoodie walks over to me. "You okay?" he puts his hand on my shoulder and i don't move, still frozen and shaking. He takes me back to Toby's room and basically tucks me in. When he leaves, he locks the door from the inside and heads in the direction of which i assume Laughing Jack's room is.
