This is for the Omega Novel series readers and the retribution has been long overdue.

Riley sat on the window ledge directly opposite room thirty-two where his room mate slept soundly. His knees up and his elbows resting on them, his chin cradled in his palm, he'd been gazing out the window for God knows how long. His mind wasn't on Keegan though at the moment, thinking of Keegan seemed like a much better idea.
Unfortunately, he wasn't so heartless so as to ignore someone in need of help...an escape. For however long he sat there, there was only one thought on his mind.
How do I convince Fang to come to Pittsburgh for Christmas?
He knew Fang's secret but he wouldn't say anything. Even though they were close, there were still some boundaries in their relationship. There were some things about Fang Peak you just had to figure out on your own.
It had been a week since Keegan's visit to Roxborough. They'd left the Sunday and upon Riley's return to the academy, he noticed something was off with his room mate. Of course, he didn't pick it up at first and thought that maybe, Fang's odd behavior was a side effect of home sickness. But no, this was something else.
Despite his ability to hide things and socialize normally, there was something different about Fang; his attitude had changed toward dominants and subs altogether even though that change in attitude may have been inconspicuous to many. He seemed to have grown colder toward dominants and even the black haired sub's brother was feeling the effects of this. They interacted normally as they always have but sometimes, the things Fang said and did seemed to be out of anger.
He'd roomed with Fang for almost four or five years so there were a lot of things he picked up on. Something was definitely wrong.
What gave it away were all those times in the past week where Fang no longer changed in locker room with everyone else, rather, he'd sit and wait until everyone else was done. In addition, the Sunday he'd returned to the academy, that night he'd heard Fang whimpering in his sleep. He was in pain. There was also the way he slept, left side up. He also noticed that Fang woke up at odd hours of the night and disappeared into the small bathroom they had in their dorm room. He'd sometimes go there limping and wincing and sometimes return wincing.
Then, there came the day when he'd returned from class to find Fang fast asleep on his bed. He lay on his back and his t-shirt had ridden up. It was then that Riley saw what Fang had been so carefully hiding from everyone. On his left side, running from his ribs and disappearing beneath his shorts, was a series of taped down gauze. They ran in four continuous lines.
He knew the secret Fang kept but what he didn't know was how Fang got them. He had a theory though. He was good at observing people and their behaviours. A few days ago, he'd overheard a sub on the soccer team -a light blond sub, the same one Fang had lost respect for since the sub continuously found motives to bash Fang's good name- talking to some of his friends who weren't on the soccer team. In fact, most members of the soccer team and even those who quit following the rejection Fang faced at the hands of Jet had grown to dislike this particular group of subs. They were privileged and spoilt. The sub sons of alphas, betas and influential dominants, they got the best of everything and felt as if they were higher than everyone else.
He'd overheard the sub boasting to his friends about how his mate had confronted Fang and knocked him down a few notches. He didn't go into detail about it so that was basically all that Riley heard. But his observation of Fang and the dominant concluded a scary reality he hoped was not true.
