Ellington’s POV

“Why are you confused about the marriage?” I said grabbing her hand.

“Don’t touch me.” she said looking down at her hands.

“Rydel I didn’t abuse you I just said I have mixed feelings.”

“Yes but those mixed feelings hurt me. They abused my heart.” A tear slipped down her cheek I took my thumb and wiped it away. She grabbed my wrist. I looked down at her hand on my wrist and smiled. I looked up at her and kissed her. She came closer to me and kissed back placing her arms around my neck. I carefully placed my hands on her waist as if I made one wrong mistake her heart would shatter. I suddenly felt a hand come in contact with my cheek. There was a frown on Rydel’s face.

“You abused my heart!” she said

“You slapped me!” I siad

“Yes I did!!!”

“I can’t take this Rydel……. If you walk away right now then I will not marry you. If you stay here then we can get married.”

“I’m sorry you feel that way.”

“What does that mean?”

“That means you have no idea the love that has built up in my heart for you in the past 6 years.”

“What about my love for you?”

All the sudden lips came in contact with mine. Her hands on my neck.

“Ellington. Love means not lying. It means that we trust each other. So you should have called me and I should trust you to always love me. You should have never lied about your ankle. One more month and death are two completely different things. If we don’t have this then….. this isn’t love.”

“I shouldn’t have lied.” I ran my hand through her hair.

She laid her head on my chest and hugged me. I put my hands around her. She jumped up and her legs were around my waist.

“I love you.” she said

“I loves you mores!” I said and smiled. She kissed me and jumped down.

“Come on lets go get some sleep.”

“Rydel. Do you mind if I still go to my parents?”

“Of course babe!”

“Thanks baby. Bye!”

“Bye!”

I walked to my car. I was driving in the pouring rain. I looked to my right and there was Kelly’s wrecked car flipped over and next to a light post. I pulled over. I walked over to the car and knelt down next to it. I pulled out her purse and pulled out her lip gloss and smelt it I started crying.

“it’s ok Ell.” Arms wrapped around me. I instantly knew it was Rydel. I cried more. and hugged Kelly’s Purse. “Let it all out.”

“I Miss her so much!” I said

“I know baby!”
