Riverdale, Your New Home. (part one)

Second person POV

You've lived in Riverdale for a week now and tomorrow was your first day of school. You were nervous... really nervous, that was because you've been homeschooled your whole life but since you were 15 years old now, you wanted a little change especially because you moved to a new town, giving you a chance of a new start.

It was 8:00pm. You had to go to sleep soon since you definitely don't wanna be sleepy on your first day of school. You decided to brush your teeth, wash your face and change to your sleeping attire, which was usually just a baggy shirt you would never wear outside and cycling shorts. You set the alarm on your phone to 6:00 am. You didn't need to wake up too early because you already lived a walking distance from Riverdale High.

You fell asleep really fast. You were both really excited and really scared about tomorrow. You just tried to not think about it and be optimistic about it.

You woke up at the sound of your alarm. You jolted out of your bed and rushed to the bathroom to freshen up and get ready for school. You did your usual routine and it was time to pick an outfit. 'I wanna wear something cute today for a change... but not too cute." you thought. You scavenged through your closet, but all you could find were clothes that were either white, black, maroon, gray, or navy blue. You sighed 'I really need to go shopping soon' you thought to yourself. You ended up wearing black ripped jeans, white shirt, a gray hoodie and simple black flats.

You greet your Mom good morning and your dad was already at work. You ate pancakes that your Mom made for breakfast. "Bye mom! I'm off to school. Wish me luck!" you said "Good luck sweetie!" You smiled while waving, she did too. You headed out the door and walked down the street, but the you realised... "Shoot. I have no idea where to go." you said to yourself. You stand still and look around you trying to figure out where to go but then a raven haired boy who looked the same age as you with an odd looking beanie in his head was walking down the street behind you. You walked torwards him  and he noticed. He furrowed his eyebrows and stared at you with a devilish looking stare.
"um... hey!" you said with a smile. You comtinued, "By any chance, would you know which way is Riverdale High?".
His devilish stare disappeared from his face. He smiled and said "You go to Riverdale High?"
"Yeah! Today's my first day... I'm kinda' lost. I've only been living here for a week." you said with a shy tone in your voice.
"Well you're in luck. I go there too. You could just walk with me if you want." he said with a smirk on his face.
"Sure!" you replied.

You couldn't look at him while you were walking to school.
'Damn... this guy's cute' you thought. You decided to glance at him wanting to say something since the walk was getting awkward. As you look up at him you good see him just staring at you with a smile on his face. When he noticed that you could see him he immediately shifted his head to look forward. You blushed and giggled a bit.
"What's so funny?" he said.
"It's nothing." you said while chuckling.

"We're almost there" he said.
As you were walking, you realized something.
'Wait... what's this boy's name?' you thought.
"Hey... I don't believe I've told my name yet. I'm Y/N L/N." You reach out your hand to shake his.
"Jughead Jones the third, at your service." he shook your hand.
You smiled. "Jughead, huh. Cute nickname" you said.
"Yup" He replied.
"Sooo.. what's your real name?" you asked out of curiosity.
"Can't tell you." he said with a smirk and a playful look in his eyes. "We're not close enough" he continued.
"Is Jughead Jones the third challenging me?" you said with an eyebrow raised and a smile on youe face.

"Maybe..." He replied.
"You're on! I Y/N L/N will find out your real name!" you said with a determined look on your face.

Jughead laughed. "We'll see..." he replied with a smile on his face.
